Quoted from Meegis:

I may be incorrect, but I remember reading in another thread about the node boards not being backwards compatible.
I forget where, but another spike 2 game with custom code (I'm gonna guess gotg) I read that once the node boards are updated if you revert to an older downgrade you could potentially brick them.
Can someone else with more knowledge chime in, as I would hate to see someone brick a game by accident.

I think in the post reporting bricking on gotg the problem was that the mod loaded had a much older version of code and they installed it in a new build that had a newer (incompatible) board revision than what was being used when that old code was current. The most current version of mod code (even though it was behind sterns version) wouldn’t have bricked it in that specific case from what I understood…

Got my powered coated piece on the game now.

Is anyone selling those powder coated?

Quoted from Capn12:

Man, still kicking myself for not buying up one of the MANY Golds pre-lockdown, that were easily in the 6000-6999 range...

It’s a great game, wish I had gotten mine that cheap

I’d certainly buy NIB… I’m near Saratoga, NY

Will at Old Town pinball in St. Augustine (Stern Dealer) has a NIB Beatles Gold on one of his recent lists, you could call him.

Quoted from John-Floyd:

Damn…I paid $1,500 around 5 months ago and that was a kick in the balls. $2,500 is a joke.

Lol, it’s called “the vault” not “the bargain bin” for a reason. I think he puts a couple hard to find interesting things in there usually at a fairly high price for people who just want it now and don’t want to wait and search. I also paid about $1100 for that topper last year but you don’t see them often and with licensing they’ll never make more so the market price could be all over the place (look at SW, GoTG, BK and Munsters toppers all closer to 3k).

Quoted from KingMixer:

So has Stern made an Insider Connected kit for Beatles yet? I'd put the reader in the coin door, but I installed the headphone/volume control there. I read an earlier post where a late model game had IC already installed, so you'd think there would be an upgrade kit available. Anyone know?

I mounted mine on the left side. There must have been a reason I couldn’t mount in the normal spot on the right but I don’t remember what it was.
