I think that it was pretty amazing that there was zero battery leakage.

It’s a nice find, but l hope you threw some cash his way. Just seems like the right thing to do.

Wow only an ass would downvote this comment

I wouldn’t doubt that they were the original batteries

I'd buy that guy a nice bottle of Scotch. With quarters.

Yes a bottle of scotch would be a nice gesture.

Quoted from NPO:

I hate how happy I am for you and love how much I hate you right now

so good.. congrats on this amazing find!!!! i have a similar story involving a free game.

what an awesome situation!!!!

Give that man a nice scotch or a $200 gift certificate. He’ll get a kick out of that and you’ll feel good for the extra effort.

That would give you a chance to find out some more about the game. Did he buy it and put the quarters in himself? The code is probably original so you can check the game play audits.

I will be giving him something for it, He was given the machine by his in-laws about 12 years ago and they carried it down into their basement, legs on and head up, where it sat never played, he said his in-laws won it in a raffle sometime in the mid 90s, paperwork inside indicates that it was bought out of Alsip, Il

It was definitely on route for at least a little while, there was a mousin around operation manual mixed in with the paperwork

Nice find!

Great way to end 2019!

One of my favorite games !!! What a score ! Now it’s time to do the precaution mods along with the visual mods . I would definitely do the fix for the rear drop down target and get those wires all
Soldered together . Also leds look amazing on this game as well as a speaker upgrade kit . Color Dmd is great on this game and defiantly upgrade the Roms.

One of my 2 grail games. Played it a ton at the truck stop in college. At least now I've got a buddy who owns one. Great find!
