More good timing. We have had a swarm circling neighborhood for a few days. You can hear them coming as they fly overhead. Must be 1000 plus. Also have had about 100 bees hiding under my barn, they went through a two inch hole.
Been looking at a box on ebay. But, i am clueless on bees, must research if Im going to do this.

My sworm came back.

Quoted from Ericpinballfan:

So, they must have smelled the scent from before. This was a 10 foot ball size sworm, and loud. Took them about 3 minutes to form 2 large orgy balls on ground...Then all vanished into this 3 inch by 1 1/2 hole.

Sadly they are under the floor board of my Tuffshed barn.
Looking at buying the Bee Box this time.
Reading, watching you tube....I guess the trick will be, How do I get queen to go to new bee box?

My thoughts are to place new baited bee box next to hole.
Love any suggestions, thanks.

Box built off of eBay. Spent a few ours today melting a pound of local bee wax and coated everything.
Building nice condo for them.

Quoted from amkoepfer:

Looks good. One of the hives i bought was off of a sketchy website vervor.com . I didnt actually think id get it but i did. Only issue is its not built the best and the frames werent waxed, but it was cheap!

Got mine off ebay. $110, I made an offer. Came in 5 days. Loved the cedar pine scent of the wood. All raw wood. I glued the dove tail corners and used the pre drilled nail holes.
The pound of bees wax went fast. Just enough to do frames and heavy coat inside box.

Went with the flame polish look for this box.
I'm trying to draw bees out from under that barn.
So, I didn't want to use smelly paint.

1 week in and there starting to get it.
Using front door because they have no choice.
Lots of confusion at back in the tunnel.
