First time attending Pinfest and first time bringing any of what I've been selling to a show. Didn't know what to expect really with diagnostic equipment, but Friday I barely had a break in talking to someone the first 5-6 hours, which was a totally new experience to me. I looked at the time when I had a chance and it felt like it should be 7pm but was only 4:30! lol. Lots of interest in the Bally conversion displays which was great to see. Honestly so much of Friday was a blur.. but it was an awesome blur. Met a lot of great people that were excited about what I brought along or excited about neat equipment or mods they were building themselves. I think it was cool to be this "contrast" in what's normally offered in the flea market area since I had just tagged along with my father this year who was setup over there. Enough people seemed to do a double-take as they were walking by and it was likely better for the types of conversations that happen with niche test equipment that needs some level of explanation to show when and where it's useful.. since it was quieter over there.
Met ForceFlow, Rob Craig, Marco, Eddie Cramer, Todd@TNT and so many others! I'm forgetting a bunch of names for sure, but lots of great people that were working on neat things of their own, or excited about what they were seeing, or had purchased something from me before. Quite a few people that were EEs themselves or dabbled in creating circuit boards of their own.. I even picked up a few tips myself in those conversations!
All in all a cool experience! Thanks to everyone that stopped by!
