I have the following four machines that I could deliver to Allentown (but I can only fit two in my truck).

Taxi- Good original cabinet, new CPR playfield, new plastics, new CPR backglass $3500
Grand Prix- Good original cabinet, NOS clear coated playfield, probably the nicest Grand Prix in existence $2000
Firepower- Good original cabinet, new CPR playfield, new plastics, some flaking on the backglass $2000
Attack From Mars- New Doug Huse cabinet, awesome original playfield, UFO saucer mod (not installed). $8000

Include an email with inquiries for photos. I'll try to get marketplace ads up soon, but I'm busy.

I am new to the hobby and have never been to a show before. I assume there will be vendors at the show, are there deals to be had or should I just buy what I need\want now from their websites? (Led's, cleaning supplies, parts, etc.)

I'm in the same boat as you, first timer. From what I read, there will be vendors aplenty, some will have true real deals, others will have small discounts. All of them will waive their shipping costs. So for example, Cointaker LEDs might cost a little more at the show than on their website, but you don't have any shipping charges to pay.

I was planning on picking up a set of ramps at the show. They're big, so I'll save a bit on shipping

What are you asking for the CF?

All my headphone kits and sub adapters will be cheaper at my booth in the show.

Coin taker has discounts at the show. I wait till Allentown and buy a years worth. I especially like the bulk bags of 50 or 100 bulbs.

I'm new as well. Just picked up my first machine in November and am really looking forward to the Allentown show. Planning on being there all day Friday.

Just one thing...obviously a lot of you guys have been in the hobby for a while. Please remember that some of are are new and really have no idea what you're talking about when you refer to machines by a set of initials...the full names of games would be very helpful to those of us still trying to get our feet wet. (Thanx)

They've done a great job with this website. With a lot of the initials for machines, if you run your cursor over it, the name and year of the machine will show up. It took me awhile to figure that out. I'm a bit slow with this type of stuff.

Yeah...I had noticed that on a lot of them, but not all. Pretty cool feature though.

Thanks!

In a word - yes! Many of the vendors at shows run "show specials". I have found that often one can pickup some good bargains in regard to vendor goods and Pinball machines!

I know mine isn't going anywhere from its home (unless I get 1 million dollars for it..lol) since it's an original Diamond Plate version and documented signed by Python before he passed away. Python really loved all of the custom upgrades I did to this BoP.
