My "Nell Log" is not working at all. Is there anything that I should check before I remove it from the playfield?

If not, how do I remove it? Thank you.

Check the belt, which is little more than a rubber band.

Will do. However, can you or someone else tell me how to remove it from the playfield?? Thank you.

its pretty basic to remove it. start with the screws on top then I think that it might come off from there. the motor disconnects under the playfield.

Yea the removal isn’t that hard . Disconnect underneath and remove the screws on top . It’s probably either the motor or belt . Both parts should be available at Marco . The belt is put on a certain way almost figure 8 if I remember correctly .

OK...I disconnected and removed the Nell Log. If I pull the rubber band with my hand, the 'saw' turns. However, I cannot move the gear and the Nell Log is stuck in the 'all the way' back position. Should the gear turn freely without the motor being on? How would I test the motor? See pictures.

I appreciate anyone that responded to my inquiry. Had a tech over a few days ago and just 'freed-up' the gear. Works perfectly. Thanks for all your suggestions.
