This question probably applies to all machines...TAF was the first game in my gameroom so I just put that as the topic title. Anyways on to the question. Is it ok to turn off the machine after you are done playing for the day, or is it bad for the machine? Or does it have no affect on it? If it is good for the machine, do you want to wait until the sound dies down (so the speakers don't make that "pop"-ing noise)? Thank you all for your help!

For sure!! I turn mine off and unplug them when not in use. Saves energy and its less wear and tear on the machine. Some of mine get pretty hot behind the backbox. Computers and other electronic equipment have cooling fans installed in them and I have always wondered why there was never any cooling fans installed in pinballs?

Yeah, it's best to turn your games off if you're done for the day. I do so with all my pinball machines and arcade games. I also don't turn them on for the day until I'm ready to play right at that time.
