I don't have any patients. I'm a doctor, but not *that* kind of doctor!
But for the real question, I decided not to go with the MMr and may pick up a Hobbit after I get to play one.

Not me. Love LOTR, but never read the books or watched the movies (which I even have on DVD). The game is great, knew it the first time I played it (at PAPA). Same with other games--Love WPT but never a huge fan of the show (although I like me some holdem). Not a huge fan of the WOZ movie (have some nostalgic affection for it tho) but really like how the game shoots and plays. OTOH, really like the STTNG tv show, detest the game. Same for South Park. Have no love for the SST movie but love the game. Etc. It's all about the gameplay for me. Theme is a bonus if it's cool.
