    Quoted from mof:

    Well, not for everyone.
Nothing to see in my glove box.
    1. I leave nothing in my car with an address. I carry papers in my wallet only.
    2. I never leave an opener in the car.

And what happens when someone uses your car and they are pulled over?

Get a real alarm with no delay on the zones, a fast cell communicator & keep the communicator seperate from the panel & keep that seperate from the keypad.

Guys there's some real legit security options out there if you spend the money.

Zip Ties are really dangerous, no Fire Dept in the country would recommend using one. See our Zip Tie section on our Garage Defender website. We have a much safer solution. Check us out at at the details below

To be clear, the solution for Zip Ties is a violation of Federal Regulations and UL 325 code for regulating door safety. As anyone condoning the use of Zip Ties is propagating the infracting legal advice, and it may put those using the advise (both customers and those entities offering said advise) into harms way, not just via risk of death but also business liability claims being denied. Our solution is as easy as a zip tie to install, takes just seconds and no tools, and removes the home owner or servicing company from liability risk (let alone website).

This guy made two accounts on different names to spam his $50 piece of plastic? In 5 months are we going to see GarageWarden join Pinside?

Are they OK if you met the person on Craigslist?

    Quoted from o-din:

I never was a fan of roll-up garage doors. The old wood ones with pad locks and a car parked in front can slow thieves down.

If you park your car out front it means your garage is loaded with goods to steal. Contrast that to an empty garage that holds the car.

I leave my garage in disarray so that if somebody does break in, they won't get far before tripping on something and killing themselves.

So much truth in this statement. Kindred spirit.

    Who is doing what now?
Anyway, thanks for the zip tie idea. Sounds good.
