Who ever played this game last must have really "lit it up"! Looks like a great game but has sustained a little damage.

Love me some Heat Wave. One of the best single player games from the 60s.

Melted ice cream. I hate it when that happens.

It is repairable. "We can fix him, we have the technology". (It won't be worth $6M though.)

Wonder, if that is the same pin that was for sale in South Edmonton, 4 years ago?

The Heat Wave club(s) are willing & able to provide any pics / scans you need to bring it back to life.

Looks like you would need a new relay, 1 target bank, and a little rewiring, all pretty easy stuff to do and plenty of parts available, definitely worth saving the game with that little damage as it is a great game and sought after by many. The top of the playfield where the target pops up could be sanded, primed, and spot painted and sealed easily enough.

Some even pay to have them shipped in. Well worth every cent, I'd say.

The next question is....... "Is it for sale!, (as is)".

Could have been worse - might have burned up the beer!

I may have the Relay you need, I will check Tuesday. The Coil on yours looks fine as the paper did not burn off. My relay may or may not have a coil, so hopefully yours is still intact. Let me know if you want it and I will give it to you if I have it.

Here is your replacement Drop Target Bank on eBay (you could always sell the extra to recoup some expense):

You got to love those old metal Williams single bank drop targets. They may catch fire, but I've never seen one break.

What amazes me even more are the swinging targets. I've had a few of those now including the oldest one, and they take a licking and keep on ticking. Never seen one stop working. And I'd imagine many were left running for hours when people walked away before finishing a game.

Is there a particular kind of elbow beer that works best in these kind of situations?
Def sounds like something I need to try.

Finally picked this thing up!

It's pretty dirty but after a few minutes of cleaning it's looking pretty good. It has a few melted inserts. Anyone know where I can find replacements? The backglass is in good shape all things considered. There's a little flaking on the left side but other than that really solid. I'm really looking forward to getting this game working. It looks like a blast to play!
