I was starting to think my employer figured out where all my time was going and blocked the site...phew that was close.

Yeah... I actually had to talk to the family. And even contemplated going outside for a little while. 
I was worried I'd lose my streak, and I'm sure many others were too!
Gotta be the most dedicated addict of them all!
I went down to the basement and Played Zaccaria Hot Wheels on my MAME cabinet. I am now #2 in the world playing Hot Wheels in "Lamp Hunter" mode! If Pinside hadn't gone down, that never would have happened.

The top 3 at that time must have missed a day, because Namsan, mschonbrun and teekee are no longer on the list.
But somehow INDY5MIKE, BEAGLEPUSS, EGGBERT52 and SILVERBALLZ numbers of days has gone up more then others. I believe that has happened to others also.

A long time ago on a contract job, I had a problem with a database application. The app had a memory leak which caused a server crash. I went back into the server room with the 'business leader' in tow. I rebooted the server and commented that
'it's a slow leak; we should be good for a few days until we fix the problem'. The response was hysterical.
Squinting very hard at the server the non-tech leader said, 'Well that's good... we don't want anything leaking out in HERE!'.

It's funny when this happens. I reboot my ipad, try my laptop, reboot my router, check other sites to see if they work . Pinside can't be offline. Something else must be wrong.

It sure was, sorry about that! But all should be working fine again. Normally there are some failsafes that kick in when the server goes down, but they didn't work for some reason which I'm still investigating.
