Had a great time driving north to Spooky today with Nutshell. AMH is home and so far so good. Very fun to play. Very Spooky and quirky like I had hoped. I am not going to do a huge review or anything as I am just starting to play it. I will say that the build quality is pretty darn good. The game looks fantastic and plays very smooth. I am sure that all who ordered this game are going to love it. I also know that Charlie and crew are listening and wanting feedback and that is great to know. I am eager to see what they release in the future and witness their business grow. Thanks again Spooky and Mr. Heck! The design is "Killer".
Here are some pics. My good camera is charging so just some iPhone shots for now.

Been playing all night. Very fun and great modes. Not an easy game by any means. Actually can be very fast and a tad brutal in a good way not frustrating. I am exhausted but, had an excellent day with friends. Thanks again to Spooky!
LOVE LOVE LOVE that we can adjust the sound completely!!! Meaning, Sub crossover and volume, Then speakers bass and treble and separate volume control all on the amplifier right inside the coinbox!!!! I WISH ALL PINS HAD THIS!!!!!! awesome perk! That with the included FF speakers is a treat. The spooky music and voice sound great.

Good pinball is all about good sound! Glad to hear they focused on it. Look forward to "hearing" some of the game play -- can you post some vids?

Looks nice, but VERY dark. Is the GI mostly the LED strip I see?

#12 5 years ago

Very Cool! I have #11 coming in a few weeks, woooo!

#13 5 years ago

Is this the official, "I'm one of the lucky 100 AMH owners" thread?

Nice add. I didn't realize these were shipping. Awesome!

#15 5 years ago

Very cool! Congrats! I am looking forward to playing one.

#16 5 years ago

Congrats on the acquisition.....

I think this game just might need the fog machine mod.

Hey Coaster, what number is your machine?

It's a little dark toward the back but in general it is fine.

Quoted from maddog14:

I like the fog mod idea. I am a huge user of many fog machines over the years and too bad they don't hold up for CRAP. They need to be drained, cleaned and are just unreliable and own them from $10 - $600 examples. I am a halloween nut.

#20 5 years ago

Congrats on the game! Looks like you will get a lot of enjoyment out of it! Congrats to Spooky and Ben Heck for shipping this too, that's a huge accomplishment.

#21 5 years ago

OK now we know its possible..... John????

Been playing all morning. What a blast! If you like halloween like me. This is a must buy. I swapped out the black rubbers for translucent and added super bands in Green. looks awesome and plays terrific. Great game Spooky and Ben! Great Great game.

When you guys come up for air on your 24 hour playing marathons, and get in a cat nap -- toss some nice vids up on youtube for us... It will help other potential customers get in line as well.

How many of these are being made?

The last I had heard, 100 units were planned. I'm not sure at this point if they will make more after that or switch to Zombies from Beyond the Grave, as was originally the plan. I'm #13 on AMH and I'm expecting my machine in a few weeks. Thanks for the review, coaster!

#28 5 years ago

We've never actually set a limit, but 100 is a sales amount we'd be happy with.

Not sure how far along Zombies code is.

Based on all the stuff I'm seeing on this game you guys will break 100 sales and absolutely should. People screamed for unique theme and here it is!!

Can't wait to get mine shortly in a few weeks. I'll be posting a big review on it as well

#30 5 years ago

Any chance of some video coasterguy?

#31 5 years ago

This is something that could also do well on location, family friendly. Get some young blood interested perhaps? I see kids playing this one.

#32 5 years ago

Looks great! Not a big fan of the translite, but it otherwise looks beautiful! Enjoy!

#33 5 years ago

first dibs when selling in 6-8 weeks....

I'd love to have this game, but just the opposite - the level of sexual innuendo is over the top and not family friendly. Not a complaint, whatsoever. Just saying I'll have to wait a few years to get one of these.

It's no worse in the slightest than metallica constantly swearing....You have that game

The cool part is all of the audio is on the SD card that their board uses. So you could bleep out or even replace any of the racier stuff without too much trouble.

My plan would be to take all the questionable ones and have my kids record something else to use, so its a more personalized experience.

If they don't sell at least 500 of these, there is something seriously, seriously screwed up with the pinball world.

Just to be clear, I'm in NO way being sarcastic. This is a totally rock solid game. I want one enough that I'm trying to see if I can save enough pennies to get one someday, and getting me to spring more than $2k for anything is really difficult.

#39 5 years ago

Congrats Coaster! Color me jealous. There is a lot about this pin that appeals to me. I'd love to play one.

Quoted from Aurich:

We need to work on convincing Greg to take the plunge! We need a AMH in SoCal.

Greeeeeeeeeggggg!!! You know you want one!

just tell him he can't have one and state it like it is a fact.

I like it 'cause it reminds me of scooby doo (the original cabinet does for sure). I would have already ordered one to if it wasn't for those pesky kids.

#42 5 years ago

Man I cannot wait to get this. I'm 10 away on the current list.

#43 5 years ago

The game is even better than I had hoped. I will try to get some video later this week when time permits. The ramps are great. Love the jump ramp. Shots are solid and feel satisfying. Love them theme. I'm very happy!

You could always sell a few of those games you are hoarding away...

I know a guy interested in some of the oddball you have... ME

AMH is the bomb! I wish I could get Ben/Charlie to bring one up for MadRollin this year!

#47 5 years ago

I am not reviewing this game yet and I am not cryin' wolf like I have a couple times in the past. I am saying I just played 5 games in a row and it is an absolute blast to play. No issues yet at all. Couple minor ball hangups but easily corrected. I think this debut for Spooky is an absolute home run. I am NOT exaggerating I am just relaying my excitement for the play. If you dig the theme you will love this game. I think the layout is FANTASTIC!!!!! it is not easy either. Flow, shots, theme, characters, open source for you geeks, great sound, great look, You guys who ordered just be patient. It is absolutely worth the wait. If you haven't ordered and are on the fence. I say JUMP in so your wait is less in the long run. Go Spooky! and Ben!

#48 5 years ago

Hey SoCal guys. I have been in and emailed KT recently on my projected timeframe and was told I would probably be seeing mine in the next month or so, due to having two fulltime minions working on the games now. Keeping fingers crossed on arrival but when it does arrive, you are all welcome to come North and give it a shot.

Congrats to Spooky Pinball for successfully getting games out the door! You beat SkitB, Heighway, PPS, and all the rest. Hats off to you!
