Replaced pop bumpers on my TFTC.
Originals were thrashed, new pbs are very hard to activate, ( ball has to hit hard to activate switch) tried adjusting spoon but no change. Any suggestions??
I'd concentrate on the switches. Assuming the pop bumper skirt moves freely and the rod coming down is centered in the spoon.
The spoon should just be resting on the rod, not pushing it. The bottom leaf blade should be close enough so the slightest ball hit triggers it, but vibration doesn't.
LTG : )
If you replaced the skirts the new ones may have a teeny bit shorter stem than original. You may need to adjust the spoon side up to fully cup the stem, then move the stationary blade up to match.
