I just picked up my TFTC a few weeks ago. Got it working 100% within a few days. Now on to cleaning, cosmetic repairs and mods. I am in the process of airbrushing the lockdown bar, side rails and legs.

I am looking for a scan of the long clear plastic that runds down the upper right side of the playfield. As you can see mine is, well, not exactly as originall supplied. You can also see how filthy my game is.

Please let me know if you can help out with a scan for my damaged plastic.

I will post up some pics of my paint job when finished.

Quoted from brad808:

Thanks, that's what I plan on doing. Do the leds look really out of place when the lights (room lights) are on though? I was thinking of maybe making a little lip (small L shaped bracket thing) for them to sit under and hopefully hide a bit. Not sure how I'm going to tackle that yet just an idea at this point.

1000bulbs.com sells a mounting channel for tape mounted led's. You can even purchase a clear or white cover for the channel.

Can anyone help with a TFTC plastic scan????????????????????????????

Can anyone help me to determine what is missing or wrong in these pictures?

In the first picture the previous owner half installed a scew on the left side of the ramp. Should something else be in this location? Any thoughts on why the screw might have been used?

In the second picture I have a hex stand off sticking out of a verticle clear plastic. Any idea what is missing?

Thanks for any help!

Quoted from Piparoo:

Perhaps that screw on the left side of the ramp is to keep it from moving side to side? I can't tell from the photo, are both screws present and tight that secure the bottom part of the ramp (that extra tab of metal) to the playfield?

Is looks like the only screws that hold the ramp down are (2) screws in the ramp flap. Is that correct? It looks like the left side of the ramp wall might be flared out to much. Could a bracket or something be missing? Can someone post a picture of what the base of this ramp should look like?

Quoted from PhilGreg:

In case anybody else needs the measurements:
Full length: 22" 5/8
Width at widest: 2" 13/16
Width at thinnest: 7/8"
Hole positions from thinnest end (at middle of the hole):
-1" 1/8
-11" 7/8
-15" 1/16
Hole distance from the straight side (same order):
-5/8"
-5/8"
-2" 1/4
Width changes from thinnest end (Approx):
-10" 3/4
-15"
-17"

Phil,
Thanks for the details. You show the width at the thin end as 7/8". Can you provide the width at the other end? The plastic flairs back out at that end and I am not sure how wide it should be.
Thanks!!

Phil,
Can you by any chance post up a picture that shows this long plastic in place? Thanks to your scans and measurements, I will have a new plastic but I am not sure what it attaches to. I have a post for the middle and bottom mounting holes but I have no idea what the top hole should mount to.
Hope you can help once again.
Thanks!

Can anyone suggest how to repair these inserts? It looks like lifting clear but I am not sure.20131019_151305.jpg20131019_151305.jpg

Kevin,

Any update on a release date?

#486 10 years ago

Pretty cool! Can I ask where you picked it up?

#505 10 years ago

Kevin,
Are all of the included plastics shown in the picture? My machine has a few pieces not shown in the picture.

#518 10 years ago

Kevin,
Ordered my set yesterday.

Any chance you would be willing to post some pics of the plastics installed? The set inckudes several pieces that are not on my machine and I am not sure where the go.

Thanks forvthe hard work!
