Quoted from Damonator:Shout out to Modfather for the custom paint, LED critter eyes, LED lighting and a sturdier base on my topper.
what did that cost ya?
Quoted from ChadH:Got a very weak upper right flipper on TFTC.
If you give it any resistance then it stops flipping. However, if you flip without hitting a ball or any resistance then it does a nice full flip and holds strong.
Flipper coil wire connections look OK.
Flipper button looks good and I cleaned the contact.
All fuses on the flipper board are solid and not loose.
Any ideas where else I should look?
sounds like a bad/cracked bushing, happened to me on a judge dredd.
anybody doing any powdercoating on their machine, trying to figure out some good coloring for the ramps. thinking ill go with the slime green for legs, lockdown, etc.
Well i was trying to figure out a color to powdercoat my tftc. Ive seen red and wasnt crazy about it, plus tons of red on playfield. So i thought maybe a green to match the title on front of the machine...... i was wrong!!! Ugghhh! Guess ill pay to have it done again.... in black this time!!!

They wont hold up over time but you by all means can. Heres some work I've done. Hit me up if youd like to coat your game

uggghh, just saw your post Robert. wish id seen this 2 days ago before I had mine done. you do great work, but not a fan of the green on this machine.
Quoted from Robertstone0407:I did mine in green that glows in the dark and was going to do the black cabinet with custom artwork but I dont have time. Can I suggest doing a rustic bronze finish that matches the door handle?
I like that idea Robert, that would look killer
if only you would make one that could also protect the plastic behind the drop targets that is constantly broken.

nice, its a beast to shop out though. doing one now.
Quoted from Djshakes:Hi All,
With help from pinsider Sonic I'm going to have the plastic piece that is always broken above the drop targets made in translucent red. I am having 40 made and will sell seperately or with my airball protector. I was provided a cad file by Sonic but just want to verify the measurements if anyone can measure the piece. They are going into production and they want to make a sample before.
NO MORE BUYING ENTIRE PLASTIC SETS BECAUSE THAT ONE IS BROKEN!
hard to measure since its cut at a weird angle. if needed I guess I could send you the original. you could copy and send it back. I just bought a new cpr set.
can you get it back to me in a week? I just started putting game back together and installing plastics now. a week delay wont kill me. but I don't want to wait real long.
send me out one today, i'll test then buy if it fits. machine is all apart ready to put on. I bought the indy and the other tftc one, im good for it.
can somebody take some pics of how the wires run down from the ramp switches to underneath the playfield? had all ramps powdercoated and forget which route they originally ran and into which holes they went through. no under playfield pics needed, just pics of the black wires and where they enter the cabinet.
Quoted from GRB1959:Here are some photos of the topside of my TFTC which show the wire ramp switches and the wires. Hopefully this helps you out.

Quoted from Irishbastard:Thank You Sir, looks much better! Didn't even notice I had 1/3 red plastic remaining until this was created.

so deflector goes on top of red plastic?
Quoted from Binger:Hello.... thanks to those that helped with a previous post. New question... i dont have the circled part left over in my parts tray. I dont think it was there when i took game apart. Can someone give me the dimentions and tell me its purpose? I can make one up... but if it not needed maybe not. Thanks in advance.

doesn't really do anything. might be to help lane guide from taking a beating from when you shoot ball up that side. either way, looks like it'll be fine without it. just watch for damage to your metal ball guide.
Quoted from Cyrus:This is in place of the roll over switches in the trough? I never knew this was an option on Tales.
nor did i
Quoted from Mister_Swede:I need the air ball stopper plastic, can anyone send to Sweden
