Quoted from pingod:

Tftc NOS playfield is for sale now.

It's a real beauty too! Someone is going to be really happy with their purchase! I want it, but need the MEDUSA CPR more.

Who has this plastic installed? I've seen four TFTCs in person now (plus some photos online) and it seems like hardly anyone has it installed (have only seen it installed in photos).

Hi Gord, I like your electric chair. What size are the Hex spacers you are using on the skill shot plastic? I am not sure which ones to get...

http://www.marcospecialties.com/control/keywordsearch?SEARCH_STRING=hex

Don't need an answer today (or even this week) but if you can take a look when you have time that'd be great!

Thanks!

Quoted from GRB1959:Hi,
I just measured and it looks like the hex spacers are 5/8" long and a 1/4" wrench fits it.
Gord

Thanks!

Quoted from PoMC:

That's a really nice alternate translite.

Indeed. Where did you get it?

Quoted from ChadH:

ever so slightly tweaking the curved end of the shooter lane right where the ball exits when launched (just below the upper right flipper).

This is how mine is set up!

Quoted from ChadH:

It's not 100% but I think ideally you want the ball to launch, hit the middle drop target (only), and then go towards the left flipper.

Not 100% for me either, but certainly 80+ and a marked improvement over the setup before adjusting the shooter lane (when I was always ready to nudge (and counting on 1-2 FREEZE BALL when I couldn't) due to the propensity of the ball to go SDTM).

Fold up a dollar bill and run it back and forth under the flipper a few times (no this is not a joke it might just be gummed up with dust and the fiber in the bill will pick it up)!

Neat, but I don't think you would be able to see the book he's reading if you used it as a topper.

Wires for the lights might be tucked away under playfield (I stuffed my skill shot one underneath since it was distracting). I think you can get both gates from Cliffy's

http://www.passionforpinball.com/tftc.htm

I'd hit the flippers 20-30 times before buying to make sure all 3 are firing well... Everything else you can trigger manually (with the glass off) before buying.

Rumor has it ColorDMD is coming (if not this year then next) so with that and the 4.0 code an already good game will get even better!

Yeah I was looking at the order too and like "why the flip would you change that to a button?"

As our friend the Crypt Keeper would say "Glad you've restored it to its original GORY!"

Quoted from Robertstone0407:

Hey guys just picked up a tftc and put leds in it.

Just keep experimenting till you get something you like... or keep the existing purple and green color scheme and rebrand as TFTCV or "Tales from the Cirqus Voltaire"

How do you break that part in a home environment?

Is alcohol involved?

I think a captive ball done up to look like an eye-ball would fit in well too!

#2362 7 years ago

But will it be the old code or the 4.0? Or does that not matter?

Quoted from Vinosky:

Would love to see how the lady spewing vomit looks in color!

"Vomitous," I am sure!

Quoted from ImNotNorm:

eBay....lotsa cool Halloween stuff on sale now

Is it solid plastic or coated metal?

#2576 6 years ago

Ditto, I sometimes get a ball stuck in the plastics by the tombstone because of the “chop” drops.

Nice fix. Would buy.
