Hey Everyone, we are really close to completing the playfield plastic scans to get a reproduction going! If you want playfield plastics, or if you have a complete set of playfield plastics, read this thread!

http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/tales-from-the-crypt-tftc

Thanks!

Quoted from KoolFingers:

Prosedsp maybe I'm misread the email Stu sent me. I'm taking it as yes they're going to do it, but when is still unknown. So please don't get everyone thinking it's right around the corner, at least that's how I'm taking your post. But I'll know more myself in the next couple of days after talking with him. TBH I hope you're right and I'm wrong.

I think you are taking the post how you want to. Stu did not mention a completion date, and neither did I. We are one step closer to getting this project wrapped up. I didn't include any dates of completion or delivery. The sooner we can get them the missing pieces, the sooner we can hopefully get our plastics. Rome wasn't built in a day and I am pretty sure TFTC wasn't either

I hope I am right as well, it would be great if we don't have to see another "TFTC & Plastics" thread again!

If anyone would like to be part of this project all we need are a few remaining pieces. You can either scan them and send them in, or mail them the plastics directly (the better option). Feel free to PM me with any questions at all.

Any kind souls willing to part with their plastics for an undetermined amount of time?

Thanks!

Quoted from Crash:

I will send scans of those 2 pieces soon.

Awesome! I will PM you my email address. Thanks for your help!

Quoted from MustangPaul:

Any chance of getting a plastic protector set made also. I'd like to have them on mine.

That would be awesome, I am not sure, but after we copile all the missing pieces I will ask.

Quoted from MustangPaul:

My plastics are in beautiful shape and I want to KEEP them that way that's why I brought up the subject. Would all the plastics need protectors? Or are just certain one prone to breaking from ball strikes? That could effect the price of the set.

From the look of my machine all the plastics are prone to breaking

The legs on my machine are flared as well, I am not sure if this is the way it came though. Went ahead and ordered some new ones just for fun

Can someone please tell me where i can buy the posts for the ramp gates, i don't know what size or anything, thanks!

I am pretty sure this is what you are looking for. You will need to order the hex space as well.

If anyone is looking for a TFTC I am selling mine. It is located in Tucson, AZ. The marketplace ad is here:

I only have room for two pins so I am looking to change things up.

I always have luck feeding the upper right flipper and taking the shot from there. The ramp is a good backboard for that shot IMHO.
