How about the extra ball button below the start button? When does that come alive if ever?

Quoted from bigcat68:

Can y'all help me out with an accurate LED bulb count list for TFTC. I'm trying to make a comet pinball order soon. Any help would be appreciated. And or any recommendations on bulb types and colors for certain area. Please let me know.

I’d be interested too! Mine has a lot of green and uV lamps that I’d like to change up.

I went with the tilt graphics when we did a cabinet restore. Had mirror blades previously but I think this one ties in to the game better.

I went with this alternative. I really like the comic book art, still have to do some LED changes to warm white but it’s pretty clear and good quality. Grabbed from ministryofpinball.com. I think most alternative seem to bleed through the light more than OEM...

Quoted from Paseb:

who has a pinsound with a mix in it? is it worth it?

I installed one. I do enjoy the downloaded heavy metal file you can get from the pinsound web site. But mine chops out during multi-ball and the crypt keeper voice is lower than the rest of the music and hard to hear. So I’m kinda bummed about that. Been meaning to download again as start fresh but have not got around to it yet. My T2 has pinsound and is 100% awesome, so I’m hoping it’s just a bad download of the file.

When we did a cabinet restore on our Tales I went to the black decals and black rails to make it more dark and creepy.

Agree, mine was bulletproof from an electronics and playfield point of view when I purchased but the cabinet was beat so bad. The blue was so faded and dinged up it needed a complete freshening. Everyone who plays it loves the shots and tons of stuff to try and accomplish. The original shaker is kinda clunky vs. modern shakers but overall a great Data East pin.

No on WPC, taller and different all around. Only other Data East from that time frame will work. We just got the wood tools out and did a cabinet freshen with new decal set.

Quoted from CrisCrow:

I'm interested in knowing this as well as its a modification that I've considered

Yes you can install. I have it on mine. The speaker plate will need to be cut so no going back once you commit. Also some shadows on the backglass due to the LCD being higher up. PM me for install photos.

I installed PinSound on mine. There are 3 tracks available to download. Factory, a heavy metal mix and and a techno mix. Mine does have a sound issue where the crypt keeper is very hard to hear over the rest of the mix. I posted on the pinsound forum and have a few things to try to improve.

Look for HAZZARD he has the best both for TFTC and BSD

I looked him up and didn’t see any TFTC soundtracks?

Quoted from Mister_Swede:

I can record how its sounds on a pinsound board in my TFTC

That would be great. Can he load it onto the Pinsound forum for official download?

Is this the right place to order Cliffy's from?

I only see on option in regard to size. For my scoop I definitely need the external one, as there is a little divot that I'm going to fill and then cover. The optional ones I mentioned, I don't like how they cover the art either but it doesn't look too bad in the pics there at the bottom of that page.
I actually love the original translite, although that alternative is very cool. Was a fan of the original graphic novels/comics and the original hits high on the nostalgic meter for me.

This alternate translight is the best in terms of graphic novels…. Also mine has the correct spelling for goblins

2pcs of 3M car molding tape does the trick if you don’t want to drill anything.
