Does anybody know where I can get my hands on chadh’s upgraded code rom? I would rather just get the replacement EPROM instead of trying to burn it, I cant do that. Is it just a straight up chip replacement, plug and play?

Quoted from Billy16:

Did you try sending ChadH a PM or try contacting him thru his website http://www.pinballcode.com ? Hopefully he is still around, a really nice guy.

Yes I contacted him and he led me to a source that will burn it and ship it to me. Thanks.

Trying to help my brother with his TFTC and a weird issue where the right ramp modes/playfield inserts will light up when the game starts but then go out after playing the first mode by hitting the right ramp. He has the chad 4.0 ROM’s and the game played correctly for a long time. The lights work as we checked them in test mode and you you can see a blinking insert when the game starts. After hitting the right ramp and starting that particular mode, the mode plays ok, you have to hit the targets or whatever shot (sorry not very familiar with the mode names or target names as I don’t own the game) but that insert will go out when your playing it and then none of them, inserts under the right ramp, will light up or blink after completing the mode in regular game play. I can’t remember if it stays that way for the rest of the game and if your not able to start another mode, but my brother says that it didn’t do that before. I checked both switches, entry and ramp made, for the right ramp, they activate and test ok. Tried re-seating all the connectors on the CPU board and no change. Anyone else run into this problem by chance? Thanks in advance.
