Data East, 1993Hey everybody
Just picked up a tftc today. The center and right guillotine drop targets seem to always get stuck in the up position. The plastic lip on the bottom of the plastic internal target slips by the slot cut out in the metal to hold it and they don't work after that happens.
Wondering if anybody else had that problem and how you fixed it. Tighten spring?

I'd try disassembling the drop target assembly and give it a good cleaning and look for anything that might be bent. Those targets take a beating. Might be worth it to replace the targets and springs - all readily available from the parts suppliers. TftC is one of the better DE games - enjoy!!
TFTC is one of my all time favorites, very fun game, great theme, I personally love the artwork, it is done in 50ish comic book and I thought it was great. A winner DE title, enjoy!!

Mine had the wrong size spring in one. Order all three new ones, fixed it for me. Might as well get new drop targets while you are ordering, they have a tendency to snap. (Don't forget decals)
My guillotine on the left is having a hard time activating the switch, I tried replacing the spring and cleaning the leaf is seems when I push it around with my finger it will go off. Any help out there??
