I am looking forward to this although I will probably only recognise a handful of pinsiders I wish I knew more of the people since we talk through threads so often.

Some of us have Pinside Avatar badges if that would help...
Quoted from fireball2:GiddyUp Cowpokes! This is getting Hugh Jazz! I will have a 10x10 ez up for my shtuff. Our host has dibs on the Catacomb, but I still will have a Big Daddy and mebbe a FB2 project (if I can drag it out of the back hut). Lotsa other good shtuff, Maynard. (See my post up above)
I'm thinking about bringing my Trident with the Arduino mpu, new rules with modes, and killer sound. I figger it's not quite a homebrew, so it'll be outside on freeplay under the tents!
drypaint: Thanks for doing this. People are jonesing hard for something like this.
Coming in hot.
Also @Fireball, if you can bring the Fireball II project, I may have brokered a deal for you! Up to you to get rid of your namesake!

Look for the scruffy dude with longish hair and a beard. That's either me or drypaint
Unless he's cleaned up recently
Actually, my avatar is me, so I'm easy to identify if one is so inclined.

I went for it yesterday and tried to wrangle it out of storage. Got it stuck! I'ma try again after lunch.
Big Daddy is headed home to you, Baby.
Quoted from MrSanRamon:Chris Dana has asked me if I'd like to bring my retheme to the event. Is there room If I decide to bring it?

He gave me a heads up last week and I already carved a spot for you inside
I am looking forward to the meet up. I am actively looking for a better door for my Jacks Open, a door for my Bally Skipper (same door as Bumper) and some EM relays to have on hand for parts (blades, contacts, spacers, etc.) If anyone bringing swap meet parts has any of this, please bring them along or contact me directly. See you on Saturday!

Not cleaned up... The opposite in fact. I'm a ragged mess. Lol. Look for the guy running around with his head cut off and a big beard, and hopefully a beer in my hand.

In granite?
Robert

I’m planning on wearing a shirt from one of my visits to Le Mans, that should make me somewhat recognizable.
Quoted from MrSanRamon:In granite?

No, its Styrofoam but its painted to look just like real granite.

I'm going to bring some EM late model Gottlieb doors for sale. I hope that you can find what you need.

Or it may be Spyder138. Seems to be a common look among pinball enthusiasts. Oh, and don't forget the paunchy mid section.
Quoted from jbovenzi:Thank you! Coordinating with Andrew on Crumb and will be there with boxes!
Jim,
What time do you expect to be at the Flipper Room on Friday?
Bob

Please do! I need a coin door for my 75 Top Score. I'm looking for a set of legs for the same.

Did you buy the Top Score that was for sale on Facebook in Modesto last weekend?
I communicated with the guy that I would pick it up on Saturday and he told me he wouldn't be available until Sunday after 11:30. He sent me the address at about 11:15, I messaged him I was leaving and would be there in 90 minutes, drove 100 miles and arrived 90 minutes later to be told he had sold it while I was on my way. Didn't even have the balls to open the door when I rang the bell. Just sent a text after I stood ringing his doorbell for 10 minutes.
I certainly have no beef with you if you were the buyer, it could have easily been your experience if I had been the first one there, but sellers like that are a hard pill to swallow. 3.5 hours of my time and $40 worth of gas wasted. Rant over. Thanks for for the therapy session.

Man, that sucks!!!
Quoted from ThatOneDude:Maybe someone could bring a set from the South Bay:

I bought a few things from this seller a couple of months ago. If he isn't coming to Concord tomorrow, I could try to pick up from him tonight. I will be a couple of blocks from his house later this evening. Let me know.

Yep. It was the one in Modesto. Your experience doesn't surprise me. The dude was a tool and a half. I didn't even try to negotiate. I paid his asking price and he acted totally put out that he had to help me move it 10 feet out of his garage. My wife helped me wrestle it into the car from there.
I contacted him Saturday night and he told me to contact him after 11:00. I asked how about 11:05. I told him I didn't want to miss out. He said 11:15-11:30 so I messaged him at 11:12. He knew I was serious and knew I was 2.2 miles from him. He was paid by 11:20. I'm glad I got it but I hate seeing people get burned. Guess I should buy you a beer tomorrow!

I have a East Bay ewaste drop off first and hope to be in Concord by 9:30 AM. Just got back from there with first load of swap meet stuff

I think that you might have misread my post. I have Late Model Gottlieb Coin Doors (Jacks Open, Centigrade, etc.) These are the larger coin doors that GTB used to go into the Solid State era.
I have no "small" doors that would fit Top Score. Sorry.
I'm so looking forward to tomorrow!
I will bring a bunch of PCBs that I ordered from JLCPCB for various pin related projects:
Quoted from MrSanRamon:I delivered my retheme today and will probably be there Friday morning fairly early.
This is what I look like from behind, so if you see me tomorrow be sure to say hi.

Great to meet you there today. I look like this from behind if anyone is looking for me.
Screen Shot 2021-07-23 at 6.49.52 PM (resized).pngMy truck is in the shop so I won’t be able to make it. I’ve PMd Fireball2 about the displays he is going to sell. I could really use them.
I have a few Afm parts, I have a rottendog mpu board with a boryguard nvram installed. Also the big saucer board with mothership plastic and 6 mini saucer plastics with brand new green flasher domes.
Harley D.
I'll have a wpc98 driver, some DMDs, including a fairly hard to find extra large sega dmd from baywatch, 3 cocktail games(2x star trips, 1x eros), some legs that have been getting underfoot for years, some opto boards and whatever i find in my stage unit in the morning. If you might want a fully populated Strange Science playfield, I could grab that.
Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow. Looking to be a success Mike! You need to give this thing a name.
Quoted from CodHollandaise:Looks good.
That was the best view.
It was nice meeting a bunch of new(to me) pinsiders! Thanks drypaint for putting on a good meet!
Such a great time. Thanks for hanging out everyone.
