Call it serendipity or kismet but I happened to be in Texas this week from the great state of Iowa and I stumbled across the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Texas Pinball Museum in Midlothian, Texas. Paul McKinney, Ed and Kim VanderVeen have created a great place to come experience some of the best pinball machines on the planet. Kim was gracious in extending an invitation to come celebrate the "opening" with them last night. I had a blast and got to experience Oktoberfest and Lebowski for the first time. Currently the museum is open only on Saturdays and has a one price, play all day thing going on. Thanks again and best of luck with the Texas Pinball Museum.
The picture is of the Chamber of Commerce presenting Ed, Kim and Paul with a cool plaque commemorating the event.
