I grabbed my weekend pass and snagged the convention rate on the room.
Who's planning to make it?
Me, Me, Me!!!
I do need to book the room and what not. I seem to keep pushing that off a week and need to get moving on it.
Our four machines are registered, our 'presidential suite' booked, my pink hat paid for.
We're going.
I know this event is now on Pinside in the events section so Pinsiders can click on it and show they are attending - good way of tracking who is going!
Would not miss it. Staying at the hotel this year.
Don't want a repeat of last years driving around Dallas at 4:00 AM craziness.
We have a total of 4 coming from Beaumont.

The convention rate on the room was really good. It'll be nice to stay in the same place as the event.
Quoted from minnesota13:Me too!
You can't go! You have been band from the state of TEXAS after that stunt you pulled last time you were there.
I'll bethere for sure. Just a stone throw away for me. Looking forward to meeting some pinsiders there.
I'll be there Friday evening, and I'll be checking out Sunday. I'm definitely looking forward to throwing back a few beers with some Pinsiders. I'm excited about it already.
I will be there, it will be my first pinball convention, looking forward to it, registered my street fighter 2 hotel booked, and all ready to go.

You really could not have picked a better convention. The Dallas pinball community is impressive and they really support this event tremendously . . . great hosts those Dallas area guys.
Last year my biz partner and I made it an all expense trip for us and our employees. After that weekend, we decided to make it annual
Thanks for the heads-up D_Struct. I just pre-purchased my weekend pass and t-shirt. Now I have to wait till March for all the fun to happen...
I'll be somewhere in Asia for work at that time, but you can be sure I'll be at TPF for some vacationing.
Steve - As of right now, one of ours for sure and possibly two. Depends on how attached Josh gets to Getaway beforehand (and if the other one makes it until March - Magic Eight Ball™ says outcome unlikely, but there's been stranger things that have happened).
I plan on attending all weekend. I live close enough to drive every day. I may bring a vid or 2. - Barry
Quoted from PB-Guy:Hotel booked and ready to go...looking forward to meeting a lot of Pinsiders!
Earlier this year we talked about all wearing a pinside shirt or something so we would know to great each other. We didn't pull it off this year but maybe we can in 2014. Something for us to discuss and plan anyway.
Shameless plug... Don't forget to get your TPF gear! Shirts (including the Limited Edition shirt), caps, hoodies! This year's logo is simply medieval...see what I did there

The royal blue caps are royal blue (like the shirt)... not that light blue in the picture.

My wife and I just pre-registered for our weekend passes and booked the hotel too. I can't wait for another great TPF!!!
I just found out today that it's the same weekend as my son's first communion. That's two years in a row that I'll have to miss the TPF.
Just can't catch a break.... I'm pretty down about missing the whole thing again. I even thought about flying in and leaving late Saturday night... but got the 'whatever' look from my wife.
Guess I'll see you guys in 2015.... (maybe).
Quoted from Scuba_Steve:Maybe a little early to ask but is anyone planing to bring a pin to sell?
Trying to bring 5 and selling four of them.

Maybe someone could make a batch of cheap pins for easy ID? Or arrange a predetermined meet up.
Will be there with wife and brother in tow. REALLY enjoyed the vendor/exhibitor party last year. Played BBB about 10 times early Sunday while the hangovers were sleeping in. Looking forward to this, my third year.
Mk1Mod0, you and I may have been playing BBB together because that's what I did on Sunday as well. Was the only way to get time on that machine! I sure hope the same gentleman brings BBB again this year, that was exceedingly nice and cool of the guy.
I think I'm going to bring a machine this coming year as well. I like getting the extra hour to hang out and play games at night (assuming they will do that again next year for those who bring machines).
I hope to be at TPF-2014, and bring a pinball machine to set up in ArkLaTex Pinball Club area.
I went to TPF in 2012 & 2013, and had a great time both years.
Edit: Just ordered a black TPF-2014 t-shirt and one of the dark blue TPF hats. Great design they came up with for the upcoming show.
TPF is a great event. Im all in and hoping to bring a pin this year. I really want to be able to attend the after-hours party for vendors/owners. Great job on the design this year!

Has anyone confirmed that there will be an after hours party for vendors/owners again? Is it one bracelet to get in to that for bringing a game or two? My spouse is coming with me this year so I'd feel bad if I got to hang out for the after hours party and had to send her to the room. (Or vise versa, ha!)
Send a message to Ed_in_Texas, Tiger. This is what it says on the page, but I can't clarify the spouse inclusion for you - Josh and I have brought multiple games so we both have exhibitors badges. :/
"We offer one (1) free weekend pass for each pinball machine or classic arcade game brought to the Texas Pinball Festival that can be enjoyed throughout the weekend by visitors of the Festival.
And just as we have in the past, this year Exhibitors will again get exclusive access to the private party Saturday night after the ballroom closes to the public at midnight. The game room will remain open until 3am just for Vendors and Exhibitors."
