    Quoted from Speed:

Love to see it... This was supposed to be my first Stern purchase years ago, but sadly I had my priorities way out of whack - busy with work and family

LOL, I think I was trying to push you to LOTR's . . . at the time you were looking years ago SM's code was a mess and I thought they were done improving it. A Black Spider Man sure would have been a good investment though; I still can't believe how much those sell for.

    Quoted from Big70:

Bringing Addams Family, Star Trek 25th, Lord of the Rings, Twilight Zone, Creature from Black Lagoon, Revenge From Mars, and maybe Star Wars Episode 1 & Tales of Arabian Nights. Will also be bringing my NOS Creature playfield with the naked lady if anyone has interest in it.

That Creature playfield is NOS? Meaning it was originally made by the B/W at the time the machine was made? I have never seen one before...how many did they make? Looks cool to me; I'd put that in mine if I had one for sure.

For those of you interested in Gottlieb EMs, here is a list of the EMs that my friend and I will be selling at the TPF. The games can be purchased at the show, but they cannot be removed from the TPF hall until Sunday.

Gottlieb "300" -- $600 -- This game is playing 100%. It is a "player" machine. It's not perfect, but it is still a working, fun and clean game.

Gottlieb Capt. Card -- This game is playing 100%. It is in original condition and I would call this a "player" machine. -- $800

    https://picasaweb.google.com/103036866793559238405/GottliebCaptCard

Gottlieb Flip-A-Card -- $1,200 -- This game has been restored by Ken Head. The cabinet was sanded, primed, & repainted. The playfield was stripped, cleaned and touched up. The backglass is a digital print.

    https://picasaweb.google.com/116707490823432104374/FlipACard

Gottlieb King Of Diamonds -- $3,000 -- This game was restored by Ken Head. It is a top notch example of a wedgehead classic. The cabinet was repainted, all metal parts tumbled, the playfield was touched up. The game play is awesome. You will not be disappointed with this game.

    https://picasaweb.google.com/116707490823432104374/KoD

Gottlieb Spin-A-Card - $1,200-- This game has been restored by Ken Head. The cabinet was sanded, primed, & repainted. The playfield was stripped, cleaned and touched up. The backglass is in good condition.

I'm sure if you want to buy the Kings & Queens for $3,000, he'll listen.

    Marcus

    #55 11 years ago

For 3k, I'd rather have KOD.

    #56 11 years ago

I'm pondering bringing Baywatch. Good condition with leds in inserts. $1300

You're starting out with a really great show. Be sure to check out the list of speakers too. There are some big names again this year. You're in for three memorable and exhausting days.

    #60 11 years ago

Alright, Speed and I have booked our rooms at the show's hotel and we are bringing our spouses. This is going to be my first show; I'm pumped!

The funny thing is my wife actually "walked in on me" at my office while I was also trying to book a cargo van . . . so I'm officially busted. I tried the whole "nah, we are just going to ride up there in style, view it as a large limo", she didn't buy it . . . she knows I plan to come back with a new pin or two if there are some breath takers that I'm interested in (I really want an early SS CQ 10/10 show piece work of art for my office).

    #61 11 years ago

Will be bring a Wheel Of Fortune. 300 plays HUO

    #62 11 years ago

I'll be selling t-shirts to raise money to put a new A/C in the arcade space I am building inside an abandoned church building.

I'm also looking to pick up parts-pieces and maybe a project or two. I also wouldn't mind getting one of those merit/tabletop games but I don't know much about them - have to do some research or get some advice.

My budget is pretty limited but I have a few games I'm looking for. If anyone has a WPT available, let me know.

    #63 11 years ago

    Anybody want
a 1969 gottlieb airport project machine. it is complete except playfield glass and lockdown bar. $100 can send pics if interested

Same here bro. Seems you have created a monster b/c she plays everyday after the kids go to bed and considers every sub GC score game a losing effort - what a peach!

I too would love to pick up a few more - hoping to see some great machines and mods.

Is my score on AC/DC still holding up? K stopped me from completing my search for the cargo van yesterday. I'm going to give it another shot today. LMAO

I am selling two Atari Vectors as a combo deal prior to the TPF.

Atari Star Wars Upright with Ampliphone
    Atari Major Havoc tempest conversion

    The combo price is $1,600.

In order to get this price, two things have to take place.

#1. You pay for the games by Friday, March 15, 2013.
#2. You cannot remove the games from TPF until Sunday, March 17, 2013.

If you are not going to attend the TPF, but are still interested in these two vector, I will sell them for $2,050 shipped. This will include NAVL Shipping to your home, plus shrink wrap, cardboard, straps and pallet.

Requirement #1 & #2 still apply. The only difference is that I will not ship them until the week after TPF.

I'm bringing my Gottlieb Torch for the Swap Meet. It's clean but needs work. There will be a working one in the show for frame of reference. $200.00

After some thought, I'm pretty sure I'll have the TRON LE up for sale also. Anyone wants to discuss it pre-show. Send me a PM.

    #68 11 years ago

*edit* Okay, a solid state with a roto target...that's new to me..

Oh man ..... Now I've gotto set a limit in my brain before I send you a PM. Not sure I have enough pennies in the bank for an LE.

    #70 11 years ago

I have the back of my truck burning a hole in my pocket.. I have every intention to fill it up with stuff....

One thing I need is an entirely new cabinet to replace the roached one for an Earthshaker I'm restoring. I'll be looking for that. I'll also be looking for parts-pieces, and maybe a good deal on a project game.. I need a coin door for a 70s Gottlieb EM. Misc other stuff. If anyone has some games they could sell and want to line up a texas-transaction, PM me with what you've got.

Also, after this year, us Louisiana people are going to get our stuff organ-a-ized as best we can. To date, there have been no LA-based IFPA tournaments. That's going to change. As much as I love going to Texas to get my Tex-Mex fill, we're going to be getting you guys to LA soon for some of our events.. stay tuned!

Do it. Around Mardi Gras. My wife has been looking for an excuse for us to go to New Orleans for YEARS, and I just can't justify it when the only reason is Brennans, and on top of that, I already make bananas foster that's pretty awesome.

    #72 11 years ago

I am bringing a High Roller Casino that I will probably be putting up for sale.

    #73 11 years ago

I am actually now considering bringing my Party Zone to sell at the show. Think there would be any interest in the title or should I just trade it in for store credit with local distributor?

    My .02
    1. Bring it and put it I'm the show for people to enjoy (lots of room in the club booth). There's. no Party Zone on the list.
    2. Sell it at the show. Distributor needs to buy low and sell high.
    3. If you're bringing one... Might as well bring 2.

    #75 11 years ago

    #76 11 years ago

Ah, damn it. I thought this was a baseball card show!
Crap, now I may as well throw all these David Cone cards in the trash

    #77 11 years ago
    Quoted from wdpvideo:

Well, not to hijack the thread but I was wondering. Because the State of Texas is hitting the vendors up to collect taxes on all sells or face a $500 a day fine and a misdemeanor. Do you think they are going to hit up the people for selling their games?

    http://www.danmartinez.com/houston-texas-tx-sales-use-tax-updates/houston-texas-state-sales-use-tax-updates/3-sales-tax/17-garage-sales-and-the-occasional-sale-exemption.html

Based on this website, looks like the tax authority would need to determine if the private seller is exempt or not. Doubt they have the desire to follow up on every sale at the TPF.

Hmm, think I may just bring it. I'll need to change out the DMD (gassing out) and mess around with the coin door some. If it sells great if it doesn't I'll just trade it in to the distro.

Don't think I'll bring any of the others though. Two six hour drives seems like it would be too jarring on them.

If someone has a really nice example of a BSD and are on the fence about selling it and bringing it to the show, PM me. I'm on the hunt for one and wouldn't mind making a deal before the show; only interested in a really good conditioned one with a nice and shiny playfield, no project - will pay handsomely for CQ if one is available in such a condition. Thanks!

Anyone bringing a Star Wars DE that they might like to sell this week at TPF?

    #94 11 years ago

Tron LE officially coming. Told Ed to add it back to the game line up page.
Broke down tron LE, Elvis and meteor today.

    More to do.

    #95 11 years ago

Looking to change the lineup. TSPP hasn't gotten much love in the last year so looking to move it. Mods include leds, lighted Moe Tavern sign, Duffman and Comicbook Guy figures and Duff beer flasher mod. Also included in this trade NOS playfield and plastic set. It hasn't been shopped since last years TPF. Was the one in Cointakers booth.

Pics can be seen here: http://s1090.beta.photobucket.com/user/raddroxx/library/TSPP

What machines do you have to trade?

    #96 11 years ago

Hoping that someone will bring a 24 pin to Texas !!
