BBB was built at Capcom. Gene's BBB remakes were built in his pole barn.

No batteries on the CPU board. it has a zero power ram with built in battery backup.
I just opened a box of Nintendo VS. video game PCBs with original AA batteries from mid 1980's and all of them were clean and some still had a full charge.
