Really looking forward to over 400 pins to play.Who else is going and
what are you looking to see or buy?Has anyone here ever had briscut
and beer at the 3 Stacks BBQ and Tap House?See ya there

    Quoted from Cidco:

IMHO, 3 Stacks is one of the top five barbecue places in DFW right now. It's definitely the best one that's close to the TPF. In addition to regular barbecue they also do barbecue pizzas and have a great beer selection with lots of local beers on tap. Some of the prior TPF's were next door to crappy barbecue restaurants. I felt really bad when I found out visitors from out of state ended up at these places. I wanted to apologize and explain that what they had eaten was subpar Texas barbecue so please don't judge all Texas barbecue on that one meal. So in summary, if you want great barbecue and local brews that's the place to go.

Thank You,are there other close places you would recommend?
I;m in Indiana and we think we can grill ha ha I keep it simple with
my Weber Gold grill (charcoal of course) and Kingsford coals.

I wish I could bring a game but I think South West airlines
    might charge me extra.

    Quoted from gambit3113:

Anyone that wants BBQ that is truly worth the entire trip - skip Bone Daddy's and go to Lockhart Smokehouse in the Bishop Arts District, south of Downtown Dallas. It is about 12 more miles, but will be in the top 3 BBQ experiences (if not THE top) of you entire life. Seriously.

Some of the hotel staff at the TPF hotel was saying the 3 Stacks up the road was
    real tasty?

    Quoted from gtown:

Speaking of LEDs (but not to put Nifty on the spot), for those who have been to TPF before are most prices about the same for online retailers except with no shipping and being able to browse the real product? I'm close to needing (ok, wanting) a big LED order and hoping I can hold off 2 months.

If I remember right, cointakers was 20% off with no shipping of course

    Quoted from wdpvideo:

Oh yes there is one place about 8 to 12 miles down the road that is AMAZING PLACE to eat!! No it's not a chili's bennigan's, fridays, cheddars, red lobster or maguires it's much better. Can't wait to get there, Do not forget you can indoor sky dive right there as well while waiting around, This is a great location! Oh just so some people know, HWY121 or Sam Rayburn is a toll road. Nice area and clean!
    GO WILDCATS!!! Rat_Tomago

Please sir, tell us the name of this amazing place to dine.
