I'll be there as a rookie. Might bring a machine, not quite sure about that yet.

    Quoted from Snailman:

I'm in! Wife and kids are excited, too.
In the two years I've attended, TPF is a friendly environment and safe for kids, imho. Fantastic quantity and variety of pins and vids.

Trying to talk my wife (and kids) into coming as well.

    Quoted from Tmezel:

I will only go if I can find some folks to drink some beers with me.

Done. Just bring a woz mod or two.

    Quoted from Ed_in_Texas:

Game line-up is starting to get exciting. Lots more room. Sign your game up and be part of what makes TPF so special:

Hopefully those folks who have sold some of those games will update the list with their new games. I know one of them is in my shop at the moment! I am not sure what to bring yet, when must I decide and register? I may be just missing it on the webpage.

    Quoted from limelime20:

Is this the Festival that had the nightmare/fiasco pinball tournament from last year? I vaguely remember that there was a huge problem with the tourney part of it.? If that has been resolved, I am flying in with my family for this one, but if not, will pass.
Any news if this was the one? Thanks in advance..

    Quoted from Ed_in_Texas:

They will. We have will new software and a lot more staff on hand. I take it since you felt the need to bring up that old thread (since I know it wasn't to just be a jack wagon) that you are coming to TPF? Obviously you want the tournaments to be better like the rest of us. Can I count on you to help in the tournament area? Shoot me a message and I'll get you signed up.

    Quoted from gambit3113:

Anyone that wants BBQ that is truly worth the entire trip - skip Bone Daddy's and go to Lockhart Smokehouse in the Bishop Arts District, south of Downtown Dallas. It is about 12 more miles, but will be in the top 3 BBQ experiences (if not THE top) of you entire life. Seriously.

Agree with skipping a breastraunt chain if its good food you are after...
But if you want top 3 BBQ experience go ahead and drive south 3-4 hours to Austin area.

    Quoted from way2wyrd:

Franklins., Snows, Blacks, Coopers, Salt Lick These are the BBQ places you must eat at. All down in Austin and Lockhart and surrounding area.
    Dont Mess With Texas
    --Jeff

Live oak, stiles switch, & micklethwaite to round out that list. And salt lick is low grade dog food.
