I want to thank the organizers for dropping it to 20 plays. I was concerned about being able to "get in" 30 plays and still have time to roam the floor. Essentially 2x tries per machine and prove your prowess is a much better indicator of raw pinball skill. Had you announced 20 plays in the beginning I would have signed up sooner than last week - it's simply a better way to do the tourney considering the mind-blowing general admission area. AWESOME decision!
