The real question, will the tonneau cover close if a machine is put in back-end first? It looks like there is enough height at the end of the bed.

Quoted from Platypus:

You might want head lights.

No more necessary than side mirrors or windshield wipers. I'm thinking there will be a few changes and additions.

Saturday morning teaching tools.

The original Cybertruck pinball machine.

Quoted from wrb1977:

Saturn V for the win!

Falcon Heavy has nine Merlin 1D main engines in each of its first stage elements burning supercooled liquid oxygen and kerosene to produce 5,548,500 lb of thrust. Then the second stage takes over with its single Merlin 1D engine to punch 210,000 lb of thrust

Saturn V, its S-IC first stage has five Rocketdyne F1 engines that, when set loose, generate a staggering 7,610,000 lb of thrust as it burns kerosene and liquid oxygen. Then comes the S-II second stage with its five Rocketdyne J-2 putting out 1,155,800 lb of thrust from a mix of liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen. But where Falcon Heavy has already used up its stages, the Saturn still has its S-IVB third stage and its single J-2 engine that can manage a respectable 225,000 lb of thrust.

Quoted from wrb1977:

If only I had a time machine...would love to experience seeing a Saturn V launch in person. I’m assuming it’s the most powerful rocket ever built???

That would be great to go back in time. I need to see some launch in person, haven't done so yet. The Saturn V was a ridiculous 363 ft high, the Falcon Heavy at 230 ft. I am for any/all that can get up there, some of what has and continues to be done is incredible. #rocketlaunch

I think Grandpa Rick would like a Cybertruck.

Quoted from paynemic:

Eagerly awaiting news.

The Hot Wheels unit sold out as well, that's all I've got right now.

Quoted from RazerX:

I am digging the Cybertruck but not crazy about the idea of being one of the first to have it the first year its made when most of the bugs get shaken out, same with pretty much any new model vehicle. If it proves reliable after that, very interested.

You've always had good taste.

Quoted from wesman:

Thanks for keeping this thread alive! As someone who has $100 down, I keep wondering about status updates!
Do you have a down-payment as well?

Yes, I figured for $100 I could keep my name on the list and see what comes of it.

Quoted from paynemic:

I have an early deposit in. It’s ugly but an incredible value by the numbers.

Yes, dual-motor AWD stainless exoskeleton and bullet-proof glass for $50K? That version seemed to be the best value. We'll see if Elon can pull it off.

Quoted from wesman:

Yeah, I have no idea if I'll go through with it. So far $100 down on a Cybertruck, and $600 on a RAZA. This is my stock market...!
I've had a Prius since....jeez, 2005 I think. 3 different one's. I like the ridiculousness of this thing, but I'm an introvert and don't want any attention drawn towards me, so this...even at work...would be thoroughly ridiculous, and dudes here definitely ogle at big, expensive trucks as if they're babes.

Two Wonka CE's or a two-motor Cybertruck. Oh wait that one is $50K, so toss in a HUO WoZ (YBR Edition).

Quoted from bob_e:

Still not in production, still not bulletproof
I remember a stainless steel bodied car with this wedge shape the DMC-12.
It was supposed to cost $12,000. Buy time it went into production it was $25,000

Yes, just an update to the thread. I don't speak to the cost, reliability, or warranties of Tesla, JJP, Stern, or anyone else.

Just wait and see the actual price when/if they become available
Rivian about January of 2022 My stepson was to get his last month being a Rivian employee
F-150 Lightning very soon

Quoted from Pinless:

-Didn’t need to upgrade the panel
-If you have 2 open breaker spots, that is all you need for a 220 circuit
-<$100 to charge at home
-no need for a new panel
* while you wait (gasp!) on your car to charge you can watch movies, play games, listen to any music you want, and explore the car’s many other cool features. It’s really fun. I’m not just saying that because I have one. I’m as big of a gear head as you’ll ever find. These cars are amazing. I’m looking forward to a model that can haul a pin as well. Unfortunately Tesla hasn’t made one yet.
There are multiple superchargers between Milford and Duluth.

They already make a car to haul a machine.
