This is T2 related so I hope you guys don't mind. I had the 2 versions of the bb decals so I had them mounted on some thin aluminum, I drilled out the eyes and lit up them. I have 3 of them mounted on the ceiling in the game room looking down on the people.

Well the red of his eye is 11/16in. in diameter. What is the diameter of that?

Quoted from dbloom:

Damn, I was afraid that was the case. Has anyone ever gotten them re-chromed? Any idea how much that costs?

You can buy chrome legs from Marco or Pinballlife. The chrome isn't the best though.

#3704 8 years ago
Quoted from dbloom:

What about chrome paint? This one has good reviews. amazon.com link »

I tried it and it's junk. Just buy the chrome legs.

#3705 8 years ago
Quoted from Pinterest:

Hi dbloom -
Forget about trying chrome paint with the T2 gun handle it won't hold up.
Mike Chestnut is the man for chrome and often has the gun handles in stock to swap out.
He is "880Turbo" on pinside and his email is [email protected].
I would recommend you try him first.
See this thread: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/mike-chestnut-plating-turn-around-time

Yup those are the best, show quality chrome but you'll pay for it though.

#3707 8 years ago
Quoted from Pinterest:

Actually - his prices are quite reasonable - check him out.

Yes they are for show quality. But $70 for 4 standard chrome legs is a good price. Just like anything pinball related it all boils down to what quality you want and how much you want to spend.

#3710 8 years ago
Quoted from QuarterGrabber:

Why would you invest the money in rechroming or buying new Chrome legs if you are just selling anyways? Your sale price is good, it should move without you doing anything extra. Don't sweat it.

That's what I thought too but it is his game.

Quoted from scampcamp:

I put in new frosted LED's behind some targets (pictured) and when playing lights in this are pretty blinding & in your face. Do people put in some type of diffuser? Thanks
2015-09-07_20.57.48.jpg

You could try cutting a piece of plastic milk jug and standing it up back there. I've done it before on my HS2 and it works great.

#3729 8 years ago
Quoted from scampcamp:

I see my T2 main cabinet speaker has some holes. Marco is out of stock. Anybody else sell stock speakers for this? Thanks

Just take it out and slide a powered sub under the game. That's what I did.

#3732 8 years ago

Just run the + wire from the game to the + terminal on the sub and the - wire from the game to the - terminal of the sub. It's just like hooking up a normal audio speaker. But remember the sub has to be a powered sub.

A fellow local Pinsider/friend gave me a connector & inserts & it's now 100% working! Thanks everyone.

Great....hope ya bought him a beer or 3.

Here's a picture of the led strips I used on all the ramps on my T3, they are only half the width of a reg. strip and they have more leds per length. I got them on ebay, search for "1210 12v (what ever color you want) ( what ever length you want, 30, 60 or 90cm) led strip. Look for a picture of the strips that look like the bottom strip in my picture. They can be cut every 3 leds. They do not have sticky backing, I use Super Glue gel and just use a dab every 3 inch's or so. This is what my T3 looks like.

With no leds on ramps.

you have a nice T2 paul.

Bob, I was just using my T3 as a reference to show what the strips look like.

If it's 12v or whatever all ya gotta do is buy the proper wall wort. That's what I do for my leg light-ups.

Clear, with Comet rgb dual slow fade flex head.

#3977 8 years ago
Quoted from nobitingmyarm:

I picked up my first "real" pinball in October and it was a T2. The one I bought had a couple of mods already done to it. I'm going to have to start looking at a few more. :p
It has been a lot of fun for the family to play.

Beatmaster's shooter housing light up is pretty cool.

Quoted from Jared:

Donated my machine to a toy store. Will bring it home in a few months.

I hope it's on free play then.

#3991 8 years ago

I don't know about that, the bat canon on Batman Forever is pretty sweet.

Quoted from PeterG:

Yep time to mod something! Get some inspiration on these pages - led placement, hunterships lights, new skull, led backboard, additional lights under scoops, red eye mods on terminator. enough to do and keep this machine interested for a long time.

There's always my LED Leg Light-Up, they will add a very nice glow to the front of the cab and make the game stand out in the line.

Quoted from Tatersalad321:

I bought a project T2 yesterday and there are a few broken plastics. Where is the best place to buy replacement plastics? Also, is there a list of cool mods to add to a T2?

I have a mod for sale, they are my LED Leg Light-Ups. Look for the topic "New LED Leg Light-Ups", or in the Market Place. Also Pinsider beatmaster has his Shooter Housing Light up for sale too. Combined our mods put your game in a whole new light.

#4230 8 years ago
Quoted from Tatersalad321:

It would most likely take a whole Sunday to read through this large thread!

The cabinet has peeled a bit around the legs, so this could be an easy cover up. How much more of the cabinet do the Light-ups cover than the legs?

They are the clear plastic cab protectors so they extend out from the leg about 3/8th of an inch and that 3/8th lights up and lights up some of the cab too. Look at the pictures on my topic.
