Hey guys - It's been great reading through this forum in preparation for getting my T2 this week (or next). I've typed up some of the instructions for the game (basically verbatim, or close to it, from the pinball arcade instructions) so that I can have them available when my wife and I are playing. If there's anyone else who's relatively new to the game and wants a copy, let me know and I would be happy to send the .pdf your way.

Sorry if this is a rookie question, but I've seen a few different backglass versions like the one from the post above. Were there different versions of the game released, or were different backglass options available at launch?

Thanks Fezmid! Interesting - I didn't realize that there was an after market Backglass for this machine (and others?).

Congratulations on the pick-up Averell. Post some pics of the finished product!

Quoted from Averell:

Hello,
now I join the third Club - today I bought my Terminator 2 Pinball Machine in meanwhile rare original condition with a good diamond plate playfield.
Tomorrow I will check all functions and later next week I will disassemble the Pinball Machine complete.
I want to restore the Terminator from the scratch.
Actually I'm not sure if I restore Standard or custom made Chrome Edition.
Of course this Pin will be equipped with Color-DMD (LCD), PinSound-Board, Shaker, Hunter Killership, etc.
regards
Averell

Mine goes up the right orbit to the pops pretty consistently, but just barely. If I nudge or move the machine at all it won't make it the whole way up.

Great score Alex! I dig the bullet holes on the coin doors. Haven't seen that before.

Hey all - I've searched this thread and haven't seen anyone with a similar issue, and would love some advice. I just replaced a blown fuse that controls the solenoid that pushes the ball up the small ramp into the ball trough when it drains. Everything is working now, but when the ball is pushed into the trough by the solenoid, it is forceful enough to knock another ball into the shooter lane. So when my ball drains, another one gets unintentionally kicked in, auto-launched, and my game never ends. Great for a high score, but definitely not as Sir Ritchie intended.

I checked the settings to see if there was a way to decrease the strength of the solenoid, but I don't think that was a thing yet in the early 90's. Any advice that you can give me to solve this? Much appreciated!
