Anyone have any advice on how to re-chrome/zinc the launch ball trigger? Mine is quite worn on the handle

I have gone for this topper and looking forward to receiving it.

My T2 facelift is almost complete but would like the red speaker lights. However, the only place I've found them is Pinball Life who want $50 just in shipping to Australia. (in comparison the metal T2 topper is only $75 to ship to Australia)

There must be somewhere that offers these with reasonable shipping options?

On a side note, my auto plunger always hits the last target or sometimes the second last one - is that right?

Quoted from Chitownpinball:

Its supposed to hit the center, but if it consistently hits a target, then theres no real pressing issue. Sounds like your coil isnt firing strong enough.

I would assume if it wasn't strong enough it'd hit the bottom target, I think maybe it's too strong I should have specified it's hitting the last target up top

Nice pics, I ordered Thiago's topper too
How did you get your white water display in blue or is it a color DMD?

#4033 4 years ago

Damn! Was hoping there was a blue acrylic that actually works seeing they don't seem to react well

Quoted from scampcamp:

I can't remember where I saw the post about how to aim the ball from the gun/plunger but when I pull the trigger it alway hits the top target. Shouldn't it be hitting the middle one?

Mine always hits the top target too, I don't think it's a major issue

I just had my gun re-chromed, therefore have literally just put it back together and yes, I did put some lube inside the trigger & to confirm, the metal sleeve goes inside the spring over the firing pin.

I used high end bicycle grease which is part teflon, lithium based

Interesting that you got the gun assembly done too - did you pull it apart to have it powdercoated?

Start button area - a difficult task...even if trimming was done carefully, the results were poor. Not to mention that decals will be damaged in time -peeled off- if there is no protection.
So, i decided to add this. It`s made of Copper and Chromed.

Second that - I love it. Where do you buy it?

My machine tonight decided to shut down during a game and then reset itself. Turned it off and wouldn't come back on. I waited an hour and tried again. It turned on but then shut down during the game again. Any ideas what this would be?
Thanks in advance

Check this cable and connection A. I had exactly the same issue.

I will go and check that! Thank you

Quoted from AudioHaven:

Picked up a T2 this weekend from a fellow Pinsider - my first pin, too! Wondering if there is a place to pick up a new plunger handle or if I should remove it and have someone powdercoat it. It is the only real eye soar of the game and it is kind of rough on the hands.

I had my handle re-chromed, cost about $100 and now looks brand new

Quoted from neverahighscore:

Is this 1 better? Matches up to the Chrome Edition decals.

On a side note, what is that Fosters sign doing in Pennsylvania?

It should be back home in Australia with me

#5108 2 years ago
Quoted from spfxted:

I thought all you people thought Fosters was shite!

We don't even have Fosters here anymore lol so I guess so - the outline light of Australia is very cool though

Good condition. See attached pics to make your own judgement. Additional pics can be taken if you want them. Asking $2400. Below is a quick list of highlights.
Full LED
Xpin PSU
2018 new Rottendog CPU
Gun trigger assembly intervals freshly rebuilt
Custom made T2 keychain
Pingulp not included

I wish we could get a T2 for $2400 in Australia - minimum I see them sell for here is 5K

#6197 2 years ago
Quoted from djreddog:

Well how much would shipping cost? This could still end up being a good deal for you.

We would also have to convert the power as we use a different power source than you guys

I go with Titan rubber on all my machines, then you can choose whatever color you like!

I don't mind the trim actually. Did you add it to the lift trim too? How thick?
