I had a local trade for a T2 plus cash for my beautiful ToM, but it fell through.

I have a stunning ToM up for trade for a nice T2. Way to much to list. PM if you are interested.

great news Peter....

I should be close to finishing my restoration by then

Quoted from Buthamburg:

Hello to all
T2 Plastic will be approx. middle of May. We are still doing the files, get all neatend up.
We have started the second run on T2 Playfield, next week we will fetch the first batch
of milled boards, then we will start gluing the inserts.
If you are interested then please send me an email directly to [email protected]
Regards from Hamburg

Quoted from Yesh23:

Looking for some help here. I have non-ghosting Comet bulbs in the insert and the whole playfield doesn't ghost but the left bank for CPU, Access code etc. The right bank doesn't do it, just the left. You can see in the first picture the top CPU is about 20% lit and in the second picture you can see the checkpoint 100% lit like it should be but the cpu is still 20% lit (hard to see in the picture). Before I launch the ball and the skill shot lights cycle up in down (bank of lights right above) the 20% ghosting cycles with the those. What I mean by this is if the middle skill shot lot is lit then I'll have the silent alarm on at 20%. Any thoughts?

They only answer is OCD board. http://ledocd.com

Quoted from ForceFlow:

No, it's not the only answer. Plus it's expensive. You could get away with non-ghosting bulbs if the root cause can't be found.

bad choice of words....a great answer....

Its not all about ghosting LED's. The board also makes LED's act like incandescents. I did both the GI and INSERTS boards on my restored WH20 and it looks 100x better than without OCD. I think it's worth the 129 bucks, but that is my opinion. It's going on mine T2 that I am restoring. You spend thousands and thousands and months working on a pin, What's a another 129?
It's all about the your taste and your level of ADD.

Quoted from jjoravec:

In the process of restoring a T2 and trying to figure out where this connector goes and what it looks like.
Can someone post me a picture of this connector not cut? There is some black connector on the right of the photo I am not sure about as well.
Thanks

I always do the coil wrappers, it's the icing on the cake and super easy to do.

Quoted from Malenko:

Almost done my PF swap, so I decided to go ahead and rebuild one of the flippers:
Before:
[quoted image]
Everything removed:
[quoted image]
Scrubbed:
[quoted image]
hand polished:
[quoted image]
and all back together:
[quoted image]
I know the vid1900 guide says the diodes don't go on the coil stop end, but this is how it was and it worked fine. I only rebuild the flippers cause I had to clean the gunk and I figured I should since its all apart anyway!

OMG...get those plastics cab protectors off and put the metal ones on!
BTW it looks beautiful!

Quoted from epeabs:

My T2 Chrome Edition project has been completed, after many hours, $$$, and mods. I stripped, gutted, prepped, painted and decaled cabinet, did a playfield swap with a new Buthamburg playfield, all mechs cleaned and rebuilt, most part tumbled, new targets, new plastics, legs, refinished the coin door, rails and lockdown bar, Flipper Fidelity speakers, Titans, full Comet LED kit with flashers, chromed wireforms and gun from Pinball Plating, new Rottendog CPU and power driver boards, ColorDMD LCD screen, Side blades, Chrome Edition translite, Voodoo glass, custom T2 skull and T800 figure. And probably a bunch of stuff I've missed. I'm super pleased with how it came out. Now on to something else.

pheeww...You had me worried. It's a lot of work to do decals. I know, I just did my T2.

Quoted from epeabs:

I have metal cabinet protectors on there as well. Just wanted the red plastic ones as an accent. They don't touch the decals at all. Thank you.
