Quoted from Fezmid:

I'm guessing pushing it down probably isn't the right answer.

Learn to adjust it so it works, yet doesn't trap the ball.

Bend that wire past the switch body, not over it so you effect the arm pushing the knob into the switch body.

Stop in my business SS Billiards and I'll show you.

I'd turn the game off when removing the glass until you have learned more, so lessen the chance of mistakes.

Quoted from Pin_Fandango:

Not sure which part is the gear box, this is something I will have to investigate but if somebody has already talked about this in one of the 150+ pages of this thread please send me in the right direction.

Near the top of this page on the right side you can search this thread by word or Pinsider, not the whole way up where it says search forum.

You can also look through the gallery pictures for this thread. Or even internet search - Pinball terminator 2 gearbox and check out pinball parts suppliers.

Quoted from Reefkeep:

I’m trying to match the bulb “PB” is this on an LED? And if so would this
be an appropriate replacement?

It will work.

Can anyone get me pictures of their mechanism

I don't have it handy. Here is a picture. You can see how far it sticks out and maybe guess the length. It can stick out more, so doesn't have to be exact.

Quoted from ravve:

Is it supposed to be like this or is something still wrong?

Be sure it is assembled right. Here is a picture of the other side of my previous picture.

Both pictures may help you.

Quoted from ravve:

Are you sure that no diode tieback is needed in T2? I am reading this:
https://pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php/Terminator_2:_Judgement_Day

I was wrong. Looks like you need the tie back.

Quoted from jrcmlc:

Check switch 41, 42, 44 just all of the sudden today when I turned it on,

#4 is the common wire, run around that color wire for a break.
