Hello guys

I have been to the paint shop today and spoke with the manager about this. It looks like
the painter could have got mixed up stacking the boards durring primer. 1 filling is for 8 boards,
so they do 8 at a time. We have tested some messed up boards from that production run
and the rest boards still here, we found 2. 2 Boards have also been sent back to us with the same damage,
luckly, happend during rough transport. And now this one that is rebuilt. We have found 5 in total.
This problem is luckly not on the hole batch and we hope its only the five we have found.
We appologize to all that have received one of these, we will do all we can to get this solved.

T2 Plastic will be approx. middle of May. We are still doing the files, get all neatend up.
We have started the second run on T2 Playfield, next week we will fetch the first batch
of milled boards, then we will start gluing the inserts.

art work has been redone from scans of the original films used by Bally Williams.

The colors are ofcorse much fresher than those in your pin or NOS.
Your plastics have yellowed in the last 20 years. You lay an old yellowed clear plastic over
them and you will have the same efect and color. Thats what the plastics look liked 20 years ago.

Hello to all

No, we dont do Chrome adition. Silkscreening is not like computer printing. To do Screen Printing
you need to do quantities to get a good price. For each color you need to make a screen.
Printing with computer you can print 1 set or as many as you want, no big set up, no color changing,
No setting and adjusting maschinery.
If we get 100 pre-orders for Chrome Adition, then we can surely ran a Chrom Adition.

Yes, they are repros of the original Terminator 2 playfields.
Price is Euro 765 + 95 for shipping to the USA.
Today we printed the yellow and the light blue, tomorrw we will print the dark blue and the red.
Altogether we have 4 colors left over to print. On thursday we will print florecent red and the last color black.

We can also do digital print, that is actually no problem and 100 times easier than Silkscreening.
We just never liked that proceedur but we can do it. Doing Terminator 2 would mean that the florecent oarange gets lost
into a brownish orange, actually all orange colors go dull, all colors will not be nice and bright compared to silk screening.

It is possible to silkscreen a custom chrome edition playfield.
If you would have sent us an email at the begining of the run, like a customer did,
if you are prepared to pay the extra cost in working out your wanted artwork, mixing painst and extra work
in cleaning out the screens. Extra work in making screens to fit your art, All is possible.
Attached is a picture of a custom chrome adition that we made for a customer in this run.
Now the run is finished, the screens are now being made for Getaway. On the next run of Terminator
it would be possible.

Hello to all.

Our new facility is, so far, up and we can work. The main things have been finalized. Production is speed up now. There are still alot of work to do, building walls and rooms but we are set up and working.

Terminator 2 Playfields.

Silk screened printing.
We have now started to print the Terminator 2 Judgement Day playfields. The white and the 3 gray shades are printed. Alltogether it is 11 colors, 7 more to go. Tomorrow we will continue.

Yes, that is what I suggest as well, it is better to make sure that the clear coat is protected on areas that take a hard beating.

Silk Screening on wood, and in this size, is a very big challenges.
Most of the professional printing shops are not capable and not willing to take this challenge.
The original artwork files are designed like this, it is not really possible to change the artwork proportions,
You change 1 black surrounding, move it, you have to then start changing all other black lines and all the colours and
Match to the area around it. You will start changing the complete artwork from scratch and break up the proportions.

We have managed it in the past to set up the printing machine with more force on the squeegee, the squeegee is
pushing the Paint through the screen while printing. The more pressure you apply on the squeegee, the more you start to stretch the screen.
If you apply to much pressure then it will start to mess up the printed colour. Temperature is a big factor, the warmer it is, the smoother
the paints get, making the friction of the squeegee slip over the screen with less stretching. The screen is then also more stretchable.
Every day you have different conditions. To not be risking to mess up the next print we decided to stay on the safe side and work with
the standard pressure, at least this way the colours will be nice and bright, and made it possible to double print the fluorescent orange red
and very important is no problems with the registration of the colours.

We disassembled the printing machine a couple of months ago and set it up in our new facility. We will work on adjusting our machine
Step for step to again find the best setting for each model, artwork.

Sorry that some playfields did not make it under the Christmas tree, we hope that you will get your playfield next week.

Hello To all

The curing of the clear coat always depends on the climate. Best is 20 degrees and 50% air moisture.
Test with your finger nail if the clear coat feels hard. Under the mentioned climate, it should take approx. a week.
Air moisture can be higher.
