Joey, I like how you have your T2 tucked so cozy in bed!!! I bet you read it bedtime stories too! Haha!!!! ( gotta bust my bro's chops a little)..... what kinda blankie does the RK have?

Quoted from tezting:What is the must correct color? I ordered a new repro and wonder if mine has been dis colored by the sun/smoke etc. or if the repro is wrong?

Mine is Tan like the one on top.
Quoted from Breaking_Dad:What you got low ceiling....??? ...........Joey
Yup. What I wouldn't give for another foot and a half.
Of all the mods I've done to my T2, this is the one that turned out best http://www.shop.freddys-pinball-paradise.de/convolux_e.php

any pics of your T2? what color did you go with? These look like they have some serious potential. I always liked how the plastic protectors gave a little something more around the edges. but this takes it to a whole new level! Thanks for sharing
Quoted from nobitingmyarm:I picked up my first "real" pinball in October and it was a T2. The one I bought had a couple of mods already done to it. I'm going to have to start looking at a few more. :p
It has been a lot of fun for the family to play.
Beatmaster's shooter housing light up is pretty cool.
Has anyone run into either of these issues?
1. multiball gets 'canceled' if you lock a ball too fast:
2. kickback failing:

I haven't seen that specifically but I've seen other strange behavior if you do things too fast or stack some stuff quickly. It's like the code just gets confused and the outcome is ???

I hope it's on free play then.

Looks really cool in that environment!
Well, I do not have room at the house at the moment for the machine and my garage is a mess. I want to be able to enjoy it, and I spend about 3-5 hours a week at the toy shop anyways (Social Media Marketing, Photos, Videos) so I can enjoy it there. I also get a kick out of "spreading pinball to the public" but since I am not an operator I do it in this free-play fashion.
The toy store is very high end overall, many toys there are $100+ each, so they dont get too much foot traffic, maybe 100 customers a week in person. 65% online sales.
I got a great machine (from a member here) and would rate the overall condition a 85 on a scale of 100. One of the nicest T2's I have ever seen with original decals. A few tweaks should take it over the top.
Anyone have any advice on how to re-chrome/zinc the launch ball trigger? Mine is quite worn on the handle

Quoted from tezting:How much have you spend on your T2? I just did the math on mine... And I must say I am a little shocked! Small stuff just adds up. Also rechroming the gun was not cheap. $3400(including machine) and I am not done yet.
Well that is the hobby Always something new to add.
After spending an evening playing it and reading through this club thread, I figured out that what I thought were decals on a dozen or so of the inserts is in fact lifted inserts. Lifted enough in spots that the ball travel will deflect if at slow speed.
Confiscated the wife's hair dryer at about midnight to test a repair on one of them. She was not keen on the banging for some reason...
Will begin repairs in earnest tonight to get those back to level with the PF and secured in position with some thin CA glue (superglue). Looks like all but one should go back pretty much level with no loss of clear around them.
Any other words of wisdom derived in the last 3 years since this thread was active?https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/replacing-insert-decals
The other interesting thing I've found is how badly the bottoms of the inserts can be clouded up from bar smoke. This unit came out of a pool hall. Cleaning bottoms of inserts with windex and qtips has made a huge difference in visible light from the inserts.
