Does anyone have a list/count of the t-nuts used on a t2 playfield?

Does anyone have a list/count of the t-nuts used on a t2 playfield?

Using https://www.moll.no/pinball/parts/ which searches the parts lists for the various games - clicking on T2 and using a search word of "tee" shows the following quantities

#used part number part name
------------------------------------------------
8 4406-01118-00 nut 6-32 tee
24 4408-01118-00 nut 8-32 tee 3/8 l
16 4408-01118-02 nut 8-32 tee 9/32l

Man, I had quite the 3-game series earlier. First game a ball flew up and got stuck inside the skull, I managed to work my way to a 50-something million score on an okayish game. Nothing great.

Second game I was absolutely TORCHING it and finished ball 1 with 60mil and an extra ball. Extra ball, ball 2, and ball 3 were all bad bounce side drains or untouchable center drains. Final score was like 64mil.

Third game was three straight like the three balls prior. I think I pissed her off... Lmao

Hey all. I picked up Judge Dread's helicopter mod, but my playfield's a little crowded in the spot by the skull where installation is recommended. Wondering if anyone has found any other cool spots to put theirs? Thanks!

The helicopter is pictured in the decal on the right ramp, so this is where I've seen helicopters added to the playfield in the past - just not sure whether they were Judge Dread's helicopter mod

I'm just starting a full restore on my t2 and am looking for an original pair of pricing/rule cards and a nice apron.

I moved my T2 in my game room, then leveled it, and now it's no fun to play. So perhaps the way I leveled it is the problem. I put the level on the glass at the top by the DMD and also by the flippers.

When I start the game, shoot at the target, the ball usually drops right between the flippers. Also when the ball drops between the 3 targets and the ramp it often goes between the flippers.

Any suggestions?

This is a great game, I play it more than any of my 15 pins.

You need to put the level on the playfield itself not the glass. There are apps for the phone also to help with the level and getting it to the degree you want. I would put a T2 around 6.5 to 7 degrees. There are also cheap tools on Amazon or Harbor Freight that can give you the degrees of the playfield.

Removed the old messy EL wire that wasn't working anyway, and then FINALLY got around to installing the loot crate skull. Took a lot of doing, but WOW was it worth the effort.

Where did you get the red lights for the eyes?

#8063 3 years ago

At the end of the right ramp is a round blue piece of rubber that the ball hits and drops onto the playfield. Then the ball is supposed to roll down to the flipper. One or twice a day the ball comes down the ramp to the right flipper, hits the blue rubber and bounces away from the player and moves 1/4" to the right and drains. I think I could bend the end of the ramp a little so the blue piece faces down a pinch lessening the bounce away from the player. Any thoughts?

Yes you can see this behaviour on different games, typically it's the spin on the ball that causes it to spin up out of the return lane and into the out lane. You can adjust the wireform position as to where the ball lands in the return lane to help avoid this ... I've not tried adjusting the angle of the blue pad (mine is 90 degrees to the wireform) however I could see how this may help, so worth a try.

#8066 3 years ago

Check to see if the wire guide between the in/out lanes has sunk down enabling the ball to just roll right over the front of the guide and into the out lane.

Got them coming already! Thanks

Yep that's them. Initially I was going to put them in the original skull, but when I decided to get the loot crate skull I just held off, to put them in there instead. I love it so much...

Finally made it through 162 pages of posts. Lots of great stuff here all. Beautiful machines and mods.
My wishlist is full for my T2. Now to decide if I want to do my first full on restoration of my players T2 or just play it.
This is my second T2 and super glad to be back in this brotherhood.
Funny, but this game is better the second time around for me. Loving it! Cheers!

Hey guys. I'm just finishing up a t2 restoration and have some extra plastics and stuff. Some are new, some used, some original, some aftermarket. What would be a fair price for everything? Also, can someone help me figure out where the plastic in the second picture goes? Thanks

That's a great price! Are they silkscreened or digitally printed? If digital, is it possible to alter colors? I really want one like this guy in Australia does (custom painted) where he removes the blues (plus a few other minor changes) for an ULTIMATE T2 Chrome Edition!

Well I guess I’ll have to wait until CPR has their made-to-order playfield operation up and running to do what I want then...

BUT Hamburg has the rights for the T2 playfield.

#8084 3 years ago

Hello to all

We can also do digital print, that is actually no problem and 100 times easier than Silkscreening.
We just never liked that proceedur but we can do it. Doing Terminator 2 would mean that the florecent oarange gets lost
into a brownish orange, actually all orange colors go dull, all colors will not be nice and bright compared to silk screening.

But it's not possible to get a silkscreened version in the colors I posted above?

#8086 3 years ago

It is possible to silkscreen a custom chrome edition playfield.
If you would have sent us an email at the begining of the run, like a customer did,
if you are prepared to pay the extra cost in working out your wanted artwork, mixing painst and extra work
in cleaning out the screens. Extra work in making screens to fit your art, All is possible.
Attached is a picture of a custom chrome adition that we made for a customer in this run.
Now the run is finished, the screens are now being made for Getaway. On the next run of Terminator
it would be possible.

Just got my first pinball machine in August (T2) which was fully restored by a local company, and I've gone through most of this thread and even did a few mods - including the loot crate skull. Very useful! I also added Pin Stadium lights and I'm happy with the result. I set the primary color to Cyan which really makes the artwork pop:

Hi,
I know every one has there own taste. But I really dont get this.
By doing this everything gets the same Cyan color? You cant see the artwork at all? Or am I missing something?

In my eyes it does not make anything "pop". Its just like watching black and white tv.

#8096 3 years ago

I used pinstadiums in one game and one game only-RZLE. Darkest playfield I've had. With games like T2, I agree. Completely unnecessary like most games. Dont get it either.

#8097 3 years ago

maybe i will try other colors now that you mention it - i just felt like it was so dark in the middle of the playfield, and spotlights look tacky to me

#8098 3 years ago

I think it looks cool! Can you set it to different colors?

yeah you can set to any color, i might just try something closer to white

Maybe post a pic with white and see what the t2 club thinks
