Umm, those post sleeve rubbers come in several colors! You can make it any color you want! Mine is a Titan red, because I wanted it to be and put it there! My Special inserts are also red.

yeah we know, mine are getting changed to blue. I believe they are saying those are still the original factory sleeves?
the special insert being clear IS unique

How about some pictures of those red post sleeves installed?
Can someone do me a huge favor and post a picture of the wiring to the drop target coil behind the skull? The 26-1200 coil, not the smaller 26-600 coil.
Thanks!

Perfect - thank you!
I’m having a problem with my drop target popping up multiple times when it resets in between balls or the start of a new game. The game will pop up the drop target 3-5 times instead of popping up once. Anyone know how to fix this?
Quoted from tezting:Anyone who has a good picture on how the metal for the light in pop bumpers are connected? I know some where soldered together.[quoted image]
You're in luck - just got done stripping a playfield. Hope this helps- white wires from the harness were soldered at the 'V' in the metal tabs at the bottom of the picture (by the t-nut) and the yellow wire was soldered at the 'T' in the metal tabs in the middle of the picture.

Bump, anyone?

I'd start by looking at the switch on the drop target assembly. If its misaligned or broken, it may be causing the issue.
I'm looking for an EPROM that fixes the attract sounds always playing. I had read a little while back that you could get an EPROM that fixed this, seemed to be a modification of L-8 (I think, I'm new here). If anyone knows where I could buy one and could let me know, I'd greatly appreciate it.

The sound made me nuts and this EPROM is the fix!
Quoted from jibmums:Can't you just go to adjustment #16 in the Feature Adjustments and set if to "off"?
That didn't work for me. I assume others have had that problem as well.

That would make sense...but no.
Anyone know what triggers "Warning" or "Danger" to show up on DMD display. I think I got some wires crossed on my playfield swap this causing my tilt problems. Trying to track it down.
Thanks

"Warning" message is generated from the plumb bob (Switch 14) - White-Yellow & Green-Brown wires

Thanks, for some reason the switches by the left sling shot are triggering a "Tilt" so something on that row are messed up.

Flasher test (not colours):
Quoted from tezting:When looking at my two Ball Eject Assemblies one has a AE-26-1200 and the other one has AE-26-1500.
When I look at the manual it says AE-26-1500 for both (unless I am reading it wrong?)
Has a previous owner installed the wrong coil? (the one on the left to get the ball in play)[quoted image]
My game has white coil, AE 26-1500
Not a post, screw for the wireform

Wow, seems odd not to have a base, but I trust this group. Thank you.
Quoted from Averell:Try to complete my T2 more and more every day...

Me too, your game looks great
20191220_142359 (resized).jpgI know what you mean, my playfield was heavy damaged there, but with luck, patience and work it looks like new again.
After finishing the work I protected every sensible area with Cliffy's.
And take a closer look to the hole with the single drop target, there's the same Cliffy in place that is used in Indiana Jones - it's the same hole, the same assembly and it fits in perfect.
Go on...
Very dumb question but I just picked T2 up i think this is incorrect. When you are in the skull mulitball and light the multi ball award on the left orbit. If you shoot that in multi ball it should not start correct on mine it starts another multiball which I'm pretty sure is wrong. Another question is sometimes it seems to start multiball but the game play is acting like it's in single ball play thanks Alek.

What ROM version do you have? L-8 is the latest official version, although there are some patches available as well

Have you confirmed that you have the correct number of balls in the game? I've seen weird behavior when you have one too many balls...

I'll check the rom tomorrow when I'm around the game.

Yes made sure it does have the correct amount of balls thanks Alek.
Quoted from Manny65:What ROM version do you have? L-8 is the latest official version, although there are some patches available as well
Just checked the rom and it has L-5 so hopefully that's the problem will get the L-8 thanks guys.
its not the rom , but if you want l-8 i can provide it , also i have l-81 which removes the bashing sounds in attract and the profanity set , which rarely makes arnie swear.
Quoted from onlydjz:Game ROM is located on MPU board.

Cool thank you.

If you go into the initial Service Menu, it’ll show you both the game and sound rom versions
I started my play field swap today, 2 hours in ,looks like barely anything done. Reran the wiring in the head and I've got a bunch of connectors to replace (burned, taped together, etc) and I wiped most of it down. It was filthy.
Are these factory drywall screws? /s
drywall (resized).jpg
I have new targets to replace those anyway, I just thought it was funny. I'm going through and moving all the posts that I can, then I'll flip it over and move all the electronics, then solder all the connections back on, then finally put it back in the body and start putting back in the ramps and stuff. If the hotdog wear wasnt so bad on this game I probably wouldn't bother swapping the PFs but I got a restored one within budget and this is one of those games I dont ever plan to get rid of.
I've been taking a crap ton of pictures as I go in case I or anyone else needs them.
I have a T2 that keeps blowing fuse F114 when I power on. I have the WPC89 MPU unplugged. I have tried 3 different Driver boards and they all keep blowing Fuse f114 on the driver board when I power on.
Any thoughts on what this could be or where to begin? I looked at the Pin wiki page and tried some of their idea but it didnt help.
Thanks

Isolate all items related to F114 fuse and start troubleshooting
Hi all. I was trying to hook up a PinballBulbs LED light strip at the back of my playfield, and I couldn't get it to work with any of the suggested J116, J117, and J118 ports. Not the end of the world, but when I re-powered my machine, my Color DMD isn't working anymore. So frustrating and I feel like I want to cry haha. I tried all the connections again, tightening, removing, pushing back in etc but nothing seems to work. I hear sound and all the other lights are working, but nothing on the DMD. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be forever grateful. Some pics attached. Many thanks! G
