Quoted from Manny65:

I assume you mean the actuator arm (the metal strip that the ball makes contact with) has come off the black plastic knob on the switch body, that the actuator arm pivots on. In this case unscrew the switch off the wireform so that it is easy to handle, the actuator arm will have 2 holes that clip onto those knobs on the switch (1 on either side of the switch). If that area of the actuator arm has been stretched you may need to press the metal sides slightly together so that it doesn't pop off the knobs on the switch. If the knob has been completely worn down and won't hold the actuator arm in place then you'll need a new switch. Once you have clipped the arm back into place, you should be able to press the arm and hear the switch click. Then just screw the switch back into place (note that the switch will need to be positioned such that a ball passing by will trigger the switch but still allow the ball to continue on down the wireform).

Thanks so much for all the advice and help with the lingo! I took it apart and was able to click it back into place. Best, G

Does everyone think this is the best idea to re-chrome the shooter gun? Thanks! G

The best idea is to send it out to someone who does chroming. There's tons of businesses that do this. It's not that expensive and will look amazing.

No, send it to Chris at Hot Rod Arcade for a quick exchange. Price is reasonable and quality is superior than spray paint...

I'm working again on the playfield, it's a hell of work but I'm confident to end the preparation for the final clear coating this weekend.
Some areas had been worn to the wood and I refurbished that step by step.
All the holes had been heavily damaged and were maintained again.
Now I have to do some fine artwork and redraw some inserts, clean the playfield and then it's done.

Quoted from Rob-T-800:

Here is the reason my pop bumper caps are opaque white. They light up red and the center flashes blue when struck

I'm interested in doing something similar in my HS2. What are you using to create the 2-color LED effect under the opaque caps?

Added chrome molding to my T2 to cover up some rough wood patches and add a little pop. Thanks calico1997 for the idea!

Doing a restore and lost some of my pictures, can someone post pictures of the front inside corner of their cabinet that shows where these wires connect?

I hope its just the photo quality, otherwise the colors on that PF are very badly faded... And if so, I hope you got a killer deal on it!

Don't worry, if it's a BUT playfield it es balanced perfect!

Its my crummy cam, the PF is pretty much perfect. There is an ever so slight raise in the "you'll be back" insert but I'll take that over the wear at the hotdog insert on my current PF.

Do ALL the hotdog insert problems occur right there?! I had a devil of a time clamping mine down so it laid flat.

No they don't, the most damaged are the chip and the hole under the skull, but easy to fix.

I have a T2 VHS from Williams released with the original launch of the pinball machine. Anyone here interested in it? Don’t really know what it’s worth.
