Quoted from KJS:

Just joined the club. Stupid Question how many balls? I had a 4 ball multiball happening but lock bar says insert 3 balls. Manual doesn't say anywhere I can see.
Thanks
Dumboz

So how did you get a 4 ball multiball going?

#6502 5 years ago

He started regular multi-ball, then the trough detected the 4th ball thinking he instant drained and shot it into the playfield.

Quoted from Malenko:

It's an undocumented feature

If anyone has created an account with the iScored app, I have created and shared a style with the community. Feel free to use it if you like it.

Hadn't heard about that app. HOW COOL!!! Add something else to the list for the gameroom I'm building...

Hadn't heard about that app.

Make sure to check out the thread about it. Very cool stuff and you can customize all kinds of stuff to make it to your liking.

Wow! How much?

#6513 5 years ago

Approx. 300 Euros, but included are the other parts from the BB and Cabinet.
The condition of these parts was really bad, partly rusty and dirty.
Now it's better then new.

Quoted from Averell:

Now that is taking a proper restoration to a whole new level! Bravo!

This sort of behavior is very much the opposite of what this group is supposed to be about. You're more like an angry fat kid, that nobody knows, who shows up at the beach and stomps through all the other kids sand castles. I normally have no problem with you Alex, but if you're just going to pop in here now and then like a 6-year-old yelling "MINE" and "look what I got, and you cant have none!" and "neenering" everyone, without offering to share your sources or provide any useful information to the group, please spare us.

Exactly, and I got my reasons, bro! Anyway, as someone here said, shipping costs from South America are SO expensive.

But some gorgeous plastics are coming up from Germany, don't worry!

#6517 5 years ago

Today Peter from BUT Germany told me, that the new plastics for Terminator 2 have nearly a final status.
He gave some very interesting information about the silkscreen printing and that it was a very tough job to rearrange all the details, especially the faces and colors. They work diligently on the graphics... all the films had to be redrawn.
So he promised that the new batch of plastic will have another level of quality.

He posts this after coming back from a month long ban. You'd think he'd learn. I see him here frequently having issues with other members. This guy has some issues.

And I'd say it was totally worthy! Made me realize there's much more to life than wasting my time in a lame virtual forum... but hey, don't worry, you'll still have to bear with me every once in a while... and... my 30 days old post is still there for everyone to see...

Anyway, me and my South American buddies still can get hold of those awesome new translite AND plastics that anyone else can't!

Translite made by a member of the German pinball community.
Really good reproduction but of course not an original.

Any idea what thread this comes from? I'd love one of these, that looks awesome!!!

Help me out with one of those translights I have no issues with South America.

What’s a nice T2 go for these days. I’m picking up RBION and he’s got a nice T2 for sale. He wants $3000. Seems too high to me.

#6527 5 years ago

Nice T2s go for $2350. Very nice go for $2351 and then if you get into extra nice territory who knows

#6528 5 years ago
Quoted from darcangeloel:

You will properly get a PM from him now. But be very careful! He might send you personal threats (he did to me and other members I have talked with) if you do/say anything he does not like. Very unpleasant.

#6530 5 years ago

And here I thought Americans were douchey.....this is exactly why I'm not here much anymore...sir...you sound like a 12 yr old on the playground...
Ted....Thank you for a great thread....but with time being more precious as I (we) get older...I'm not wasting one more second on crap like this....

#6531 5 years ago

I agree with breaking_dad - It amazes me that someone who plays pinball and has access to such rare parts would be such a douche. Alex you need to [moderated] . I hope you understand you make your country look bad when you act like this, but I'll reserve judgement. My bet is everyone else in your country for the most part is pretty cool and they dislike you as much as we do. After seeing those pictures and your comments you can take that translight and [moderated].

#6532 5 years ago

I thought you were kind of funny at first Alex but you are really making yourself out to look like a jerk. No one here is jealous of you or your parts or your money. Maybe you should just keep quiet.

#6533 5 years ago

Hi all. Well back on track. I am doing a restore on T2 and going custom. I will be selling the original plastics so if the guy a few comments above please don't kick a baby!! and send me a pm and you can have dibs on them when I am ready to change over! Cheers.
In Australia pinside gets a bad wrap often but I don't know why as it has so much good information and people.
You are always going to get the trash element and I choose just to ignore them....

Yeah I'm excited to see this too. Maybe some more images of the T-1000 and such in liquid form

Price Check: what would a fully restored T2 (brand new cabinet, new decals, new playfield, new plastics, perfect Translite, etc) be worth in today’s market?

$4500

Idk how clear it comes in but I am very happy I decided to replace the decals for a second time work wasn’t too bad minimal prep to get the cabinet ready. The colors on here are a dead match to the originals. Now let’s hope our German friends plastics are as good as his decals

Quoted from Breaking_Dad:

And here I thought Americans were douchey

Oh yeah, the vast majority of you are, with maybe a very few exceptions.

Quoted from Breaking_Dad:

this is exactly why I'm not here much anymore

Me neither, I'm now wasting much less of my precious time on this lame virtual forum.

Quoted from Breaking_Dad:

So sir....you can take your translite and plastics and stick them right up your ass............Joey

I'm not used to it... Are you? Since I use the chrome version, the translite I stored for spare purposes (just in case). And the entire plastic set is already installed on my machine. I'm getting another set tho, but just to keep it as, you know, spare purposes.

Quoted from darcangeloel:

you need to fuck off ... you can take that translight and cram it up your ass.

hmmm... I guess americans are more used to it than I originally thought

Quoted from Sinistarrett:

No one here is jealous of you or your parts.

Are you sure?

I would say depending on the level of the restore 4K up. Mine I would probably never let go but if I did it I would be asking 5k.

Granted I went overboard and it has more chrome than most Hayley’s lol. thanks to sc93cobra at pinball playing. Best in the biz

Nice very tastefully done. I like that you kept the door black.

#6546 5 years ago

got a better pic of the back of the playfield picture? The one that is usually just Arnie and Robert Patrick ?

Totally agree on leaving the coin door black.

#6548 5 years ago

Ya I can snap a pic tonight mine has the chrome ed one... however if I could have found try original that is what I would have used. But it’s grown on me kinda like the reflectiveness of it

#6549 5 years ago

Does anybody know who sells a good version of the drop down target decal. All the ones I have seen don't have the nice neon color they are a darker red

I'm going to make a custom one to go with the new translight I'm making, but that one looks neat. Be cool to have a better look at it.
