So I finally managed to install my all new plastics, the T800 loot crate head, cinemachines Aerial Hunter-Killer, and a few other amenities...

Quoted from DexterH:The lack of chrome does not look good at all.
DexterH congratulations! You've got the true pinside spirit: "Always criticize and say sthg negative about others peoples accomplishments" (PS: that's called Jealousy).
What plastics need to be protected. I just started putting my T2 back together and am putting a NOS plastic set into the game. Are there any plastics that are prone to breaking, the game is going to be in my house so not played hard but I was wondering if there are certain plastics i should be protecting with some sort of washers or clear plastic protectors

I would recommend protecting the slingshot plastics and the lower tips of the 2 plastics to the left and right of the skull. Clear PETG washers from pinball life should work nicely.

Sorry bro, don't be mad. Just telling it like it is, that looks like ass. Spray paint the ship and skull chrome or go back to stock.

I'm not mad... Tell me why should I even care? MY game looks stunning, specially with MY brand new awesome quality plastics and high detailed T800 HEAD (not skull) and ship!!! But you can keep your ugly and badly done stock head and ship in your game (I mean, do you even own a T2? ) Well, as I always say: Jealousy's a bitch! Take PinRob for instance... She doesn't own a T2 and yet she insists on following me thru each and every club thread I'm in...
I liked the hunter killer ship alot looks really good. The head is really neat as well but it looks to be at sort of an angle? Like the orginal skull looked down the playfield at the player. This one seems to look up sort of at an angle? Was that done to make it fit? Or is it just the way it looks in the pictures? Also do the eyes light up? Looks great to me

The ship and skull are HUGE improvements over the originals in my opinion. I'm so jealous! I wish i had them in my game. Just remember, haters gonna hate.
I have printed results. It is difficult to photo chrome material, but it is so beautiful!

Agreed. Thats t3 man, not t2. Again, youre mixing movies.
Quoted from DexterH:Sorry bro, don't be mad. Just telling it like it is, that looks like ass. Spray paint the ship and skull chrome or go back to stock.
Agreed. He thinks his game is the greatest and if you mention anything being off about it (like those ugly ass art blades) he flips out and then scours the site for pictures of your games and posts them with pathetic come backs. Sad.
Quoted from djreddog:In honor of my T2 pinball machine (now sold to sealawyer) my computer mouse was modded to resemble Terminator!
Did you steal this off the interwebs and call it your own??

Not to mention the threats you will get on PM.

Wow, really? Cant wait!
Quoted from Mikonos:I have printed results. It is difficult to photo chrome material, but it is so beautiful!
I think instead of the PM threats he's just reporting all the posts. So in an effort to be more civil and more verbose I'll try again.
I disagree. Your color choices are questionable at best. The greys muddle together despite the entry level stroke effect around the content text. The choice of red on the "highlight text" is practically unreadable. Sure its more readable with the sun on it, but my pinballs are indoors.
The fence location is poor...... mise-en-scene, and the framing of the text exacerbates the clutter. You may be talented at vectoring existing art, but you lack the fundamental knowledge of art to make your own.
This is not an attack on you but a critique of the "art" you are peddling. If this were a watermark free for all download I'd be less critical but when you are presenting it as a commercial offering, its just not that good. I'd advocate starting your own "art" thread rather than unnecessarily and repeatedly posting to a club thread. There is a difference between "hey here's my 'art' to buy/download" and "hey here's 6 posts full of in progress shots and giant screen shots".
Good gawd. One link to your cards is PLENTY. Please spam your own thread with all your different varieties.
... and my custom "crew" card. This time I took photos in interior for capting metallic effect in all colours. Photos are not as good as I want but card is gorgeous!

Sorry but there is way to much information on that card, as a home use only player I do not need all those rules, and the stats who created it and all specs like how heavy it is. Next to that the red text will be unreadable, especially in a darker environment. Also the font you use is not really inspiring or original. The desing is not in line with the art work on the field nor with the backglass, nor the cabinet. Best thing is the print quality, that looks ok. Good luck with improving the design.
Thanks for your opinion, PeterG!
Photos are not good, but all is perfect readible. Look design of crew card (pick in photos and screenshots for full size):

Quoted from Mikonos:... and my custom "crew" card.
And you some how made an even less readable card than before. Your usage of stroke and drop shadow on every layer isn't a design choice, its just an amateur "effect" that every newbie to photoshop does, I used to do it too. Just like the lens flare you used on the Terminator logo. I'm actually shocked you didn't stroke and shadow your water mark. You center framed the next but immediately throw off the image balance by placing logos down the left side. The biggest design flaw in pretty much everything you do is that your images lack contrast. If you have a super dark back ground you use light colored text; if the background is light you use dark text. Its like beginner design 101. If I were going to highlight text, I'd add a soft color tone to draw attention, not completely change the color or use multiple colors to highlight.

Ahh yes, without ever seeing this card I would have never known this game had a dot matrix or that Schwarzenegger was the Terminator.
Super awesome of you to give the original artist credit for using his work on your cards:

I didnt even mention how the background isnt even based on T2 at all.

This is aimed at you Mikonos in case you didn't get the hint.
I would have to agree I would never put these cards on my T2, and I’m. It going to beat a dead horse I basically agree with what everyone else has said.
Some creative advice... look at the playfield and or look at Terminator 2 (not 3) movie art and draw your inspiration from that, colors fonts, graphics etc... less is more on pinball cards as they are small and generally have way too much info crammed in them
Those do look awesome...is their anyone out there willing to print a set for me. I'd be willing to pay a few $$ for time and materials/shipping.
Thanks,
Dan

Probably easier for you to just bring it to an office store (like FedEx/Kinkos or whatever they're called now). I just printed it on my company's color printer, cut it out, and put it in. Looks great. Could maybe be better on cardboard stock or something, but whatever.

I am pretty sure I have an extra set. My machine came with them, and when I bought the T1000 mod he packed in another set. Lemme make sure I can find them, and you can have them for free.
EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do have them. Just PM me a shipping address.
Quoted from Averell:I have printed them out on a material that's similar to mylar and I will illuminate the scorecards same like I did at my Indy and F-14.
That F14 has to be quite challenging with only one flipper!

Quoted from Chitownpinball:Checking in with cards that also dont suck.
I really like those flippers - they look cool with the clear rubber.
Quoted from Fezmid:I really like those flippers - they look cool with the clear rubber.
Thanks! The super bands are starting to yellow a bit. I was thinking about changing them to another brand. I havent found another clear yet. A lot of places say "translucent" which makes me think they are opaque and not truly clear.
Quoted from tezting:Peter has some great news!
They look great and plastics are next.
Wondering whats the status on these new plastics from Peter...anyone know?
