Just picked up a t2 and upon further inspection I noticed a burnt connector end and was hoping to find the cause and fix
Thanks

Also the bottom 108 fuse was blown but had the wrong fuse in it … game plays fine just doesn’t hold its memory. Has some battery corrosion on the holder but doesn’t seam to be on the board ….

Any help is greatly appreciated

See here for the burned connector: https://www.pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Williams_WPC#General_Illumination_Problems

Scroll to "Burned connectors."

There has definitely been work on the MPU board...afraid it doesn't look very skilled.

The work looks just ok to get by….. and thanks for the link

I'm sorry to say but I can definitely spot corrosion damage on the board.

In red , definitely corrosion
In orange, probably corrosion
In yellow , if this is just board work it's definitely dirty work. Maybe pins were reflowed and old flux is still present. The IC doesn't appear to have been changed and it is very dirty so most probably is corroded as well.

Burned connectors are a typical issue and need both ends of the connector changed and re-pinned.

Until you get the board corrosion free, all non-obvious problems should be blamed on the corrosion first.

Edit: There is most likely more corrosion than I can spot on the pictures you provided.
