    Hi pinsiders

I was wondering if anyone has encountered this or knows how to troubleshoot a soldering station.
I have Tenma 21-147A , I have never had an issue but late last night while finishing up a flipper rebuild the station stopped giving off heat. Not sure what exactly happend to cause this issue.

So now basically the unit just turns on but does not get hot.

    Any clues ?

    Thanks
    Mike

Thanks guys, I put a new tip on it hoping that would work but no luck .

I will replace the iron and cord next.

LMAO about soldering the broken wire!

    Quoted from vid1900:

Use a meter and see if the iron is "open".

Good idea. I will do that tonight when I get home

Thanks guys for all the advice. You were right; all I needed was a new iron with the cord. The station is back running again and now I can finish my flipper rebuilds.

    Thanks
    Mike
