Quoted from yancy:

But like, why? What's the appeal of a ball falling down a hole in one place and popping out of another? Everyone's rightfully crazy for "ball-interactive toys," this seems like the antithesis. Ball goes somewhere, does god-knows-what, can't see it, comes back. Yawn.
You guys must love it every time you drain.

It doesn't have to be A-to-B. The best subways have some level of staging or re-direction. I'm not expecting Stern to do DIVERTERS as well, but the best designs use them with subways.

70 posts in a couple of hours, and still no photos.....

True, but a nice distraction from the C word!

Quoted from Freakyguy666:

You take turns. Your machine would essentially be dark until your turn.

That would be horrible. Why would you want your machine to go dark to wait for someone somewhere else to do something? You could be playing your game.

Stop trying to force something horrible not compatible with pinball to be a pinball thing.

Subways allow for additional shots when there might not be room on the top of the playfield for a controlled return to the flippers.

#905 3 years ago

I can’t believe there’s no subway on this title. Was ghostbusters last game with subways?

So no subways OR lower playfield to indicate a sewer or sub-surface landscape, like chasing the technodrone underground?

Will it be the turtles fighting on rooftops instead of below?

More please

So far that layout looks great cant wait for deadflip to stream it

Rick and Morty has a large subway that stages balls similar to STTNG

What happened to their eyes?

They look as if they're about to cry. Srsly, what's with their facial expressions?!

I get they go for a child friendly look, but way "cuter" then even the classic cartoon. :-/

Craftsmenship ist top notch of course but I'd prefer them 20% cooler.

Shredder looks cool tough.

Looking forward seeing the bottom half.

Oh shit! First leak! Great job

So old school tmnt look.

THANK GOD.

Loving that top left flipper layout

And it's not blurry!

Is there any chance that Dwight isn't coding this? What is the Deadpool team up to?

Thank you for this! It’s all I needed today

#914 3 years ago

It looks loaded from the pic, but the art was not what I was expecting at all. I am still buying this game....

#915 3 years ago

Well, that looks pretty sweet to me at first glance, a lot of fun shots it looks like. I see the Turtle van up the center shot - sweet.

I was expecting a Munsters retheme, which might have turned out ok, but I'm so relieved this is nothing like it. Looking forward to seeing more!!

Mondo Jackpot!

Looking pretty cool and the third flipper with a loop or ramp shot...nice

#917 3 years ago

Multiple ramps , 3 flips , spinning disk. Looking good so far.

Stop trying to force something horrible not compatible with pinball to be a pinball thing.

Sounds like you have never played multiplayer on one machine. FYI: You take turns and watch when its not your turn. You’d hate it.

#919 3 years ago

Maybe its just me but the picture posted doesnt look that cool - and the art? Love me some third flipper and ramps but... IDK Ill reserve my opinion for the full look

#920 3 years ago

Looks like something behind the third flipper.

#921 3 years ago

The diverter on the wireforms looks like it'll be fun! Player controlled like Shadow?

#922 3 years ago

i’m getting baywatch vibes from what i see. i like baywatch. i think this is gonna be another home run from stern

As long as the button is on the side and not on the lockdown bar.

#924 3 years ago

Why does the wire form look rusted ?

Some little character, ? Ball entrance.

False equivalency. Hanging out with friends together is different than a machine doing nothing while people online do things.

Don't say that, they might be listening!

#929 3 years ago

Hmm. It looks...okay...so far.

#930 3 years ago

From what little pics I see, Borg definitely looks like he's trying to not be outdone by Elwin. Doesn't look like Borg.

#931 3 years ago

Those are some cute ass turtles!

Looks more like the Helicopter spinner on Jurassic Park than a diverter.

Not only that, but no two machines play the same! Can you imagine playing against strangers and their machine is set up entirely different than yours? Pitch, settings, outlane posts, fresh rubbers/old rubbers, etc.

With the way people in this hobby get super competitive, I have no doubt it will cross over into the online world and people will look for any kind of unfair advantage they can give their machine. People will might as well take the glass off and troll-play on other players.

Video games work well with online capabilities because they are basically programs, so everyone is on the same level. The most it could benefit in pinball is maybe updating code or features.

If I want to play pinball against friends, I wanna do so on the same machine, with neutral settings, drinking the same beer and having a conversation. I want to play pinball on my pinball machine, not watch TV with a fucking conference call. There are plenty of other things that allow you to do that.

#934 3 years ago

The box art on the pizza looks 3d as hell. I have to do a double take every time I look at it. I like what I see so far!

No man, it's been already rumored this had a shadow like diverter already.

#936 3 years ago

Looks interesting, but not my wife is gonna kill me when I tell her I bought it worthy... yet.

#937 3 years ago

Is that left ramp...steep or is it just my eyes?

Wondering if it has a bash toy underneath?

If they have "cowabunga dude" Im out.

Then why the hell are you in a TMNT hype thread? Did TSPP saying "d'oh" make you out on that machine, too?

I thought the art was supposed to look cool...

Quoted from Doctor6:

looks like the Pro has a spinner and the LE/Premium has the diverter then

#943 3 years ago

Now if only the party wagon door opens up to lock balls in it.

#944 3 years ago

I like the toys being in proportion to each other.

#945 3 years ago
Quoted from Doctor6:

I expect you're right since a diverter has been mentioned, but just from this single pic I'm not seeing how that diverter would work. Doesn't look setup to actually allow the ball to transfer between the habitrails. I must be missing how it actually functions. Perhaps part of the mech is missing - that piece looks a bit "raw" or unfinished to me...

#946 3 years ago

Hmm. I think I see the art stop short on posts and the like, ever since "pool gate" started. Looks like they're being proactive in that, here.

#947 3 years ago
Quoted from Doctor6:

Wow. It's like the reverse of when people complained that Jurrasic Park wasn't Jurassic Park-enough. Like, dude, it's a dinosaur amusement park and all hell is breaking loose! Welcome to Jurassic Park!

Now you got a theme and people are like, 'oh, much too heavy on the theme, good sir.'

Quoted from djsolzs:

I feel like you a little.....color choices maybe off. Idk.

#949 3 years ago

Guessing this is the Pro?

#950 3 years ago
Quoted from DS_Nadine:

Watched 4 Episodes of GoT And propably won‘t continue.
Could play the pin for hours!

That's probably a good example since you could look at the playfield of GOT and still have absolutely no clue that it is tied to a long-running epic series.
