So we can make out a sliver of a poster in one employee's home and that confirms a game to some now? This is basically along the same lines as how the Slayer shit started a few years ago.
Agreed on it looking like a back box. That would be a weird offset placement of the turtles logo on a poster...
Quoted from Camvr2013:Who hangs a solitary TMNT poster in an unfinished room?
DWIGHT FUCKING SULLIVAN.
Quoted from pin2d:Looks like the left side of the backbox to me
Really? It’s going to to say “Turtles” by the middle of the backglass if that was the case. And wouldn’t the backbox trim be more prevalent?

I’m not sayin’, I’m just sayin’
If you watch deadflip streams Jack has been dropping hints about a new game he's working on but cant discuss
Could be a homebrew could be production.
Quoted from pin2d:I’m not sayin’, I’m just sayin’
Ok, I’ll bite. Only way it makes sense from a positioning and scale standpoint is if the logo isn’t centered and only exists on the top left corner. Backglass is too tall for anything else besides a poster. Posters are vertically orientated, backglasses are almost a 4:3 picture IIRC.

He is referring to the backbox side art,not the poster behind Dwight. Look at the other pic.
I don’t believe that is a backbox showing the “TU”...there would not be enough real estate left for the “RTLES”.
It looks like they’re all playing a video game.
Tim Sexton is the last one alive and the rest of them are waiting for him to screw it up.

The game that someone said is Heavy Metal, or the one that is blurry beyond comprehension?
Quoted from titanpenguin:Probably heavy metal
I was thinking Mega Man!!! But yea, probably heavy metal. So blurry you can’t really tell.
Maybe it’s the Stern staff jacking with all y’all speculators because they’re bored during quarantine...
Quoted from TigerLaw:I was thinking Mega Man!!! But yea, probably heavy metal. So blurry you can’t really tell.
You aren't going to be seeing an LCD on Heavy Metal.
Maybe it’s just me, but I see a foot clan soldier face on bottom. Looks like Donatello above that, and maybe splinter above him? LCD screen looks like the sewer hangout.
Quoted from pinballwil:Its back to the future!!!!!, i hope yes..... oh no its not.
Heavy Metal.
Quoted from Charliew65:Could the backbox side art be another TMNT machine? It looks like Donatello to me??[quoted image]
Thought so too, but what would that big blue "blob" in the bottom be, that actually is seen in the display as well?
Quoted from chubtoad13:The big blue blob could be a foot soldiers face. But it looks more like a Lego ninjago face to me.[quoted image][quoted image]
That orange stripe looks more like text to me and would kinda match the text on the display.
Quoted from screaminr:but when I look at the picture I realised it's leaning backwards
It's not leaning, but looks quite straight (if comparing to the timber in the background)
It looks to me like its attached directly to the wall so it's not a backbox. Its also longer than any standard format poster. I think its a Stern banner and tmnt is confirmed.
Quoted from ausretrogamer:Heavy Metal doesn’t have an LCD like Stern’s cornerstone titles, it has a DMD. So it can’t be Heavy Metal in the pic with Buzz.
Perhaps Darkwing Duck (thanks to Skooota for the pic & calling it first).[quoted image]
That'd be cool, but I don't think there's any chance in hell Darkwing Duck would ever be made.
If there's any Disney cartoon that deserves a pin it would be Ducktales. That had a huge following back in the day, but I doubt they'd even give that one a thought. I'd buy one in a heartbeat, though, if it was ever made.
Quoted from Pinstein:I think its a Stern banner
Ding ding ding, I think we have a winner. It's standing straight up and down (if it were the side of a backbox it'd be leaning towards the right edge of the frame). It's also casting a wide shadow, which would make sense if it's a banner standing a bit out from the wall.
shadow (resized).pngQuoted from joelbob:What game is this?[quoted image]
I see a pharaoh type figure with white headband facing player at the top on the side of back box and a blue potion bottle below (shape of 2 liter bottle of soda)

You forget the backbox has depth and the perspective.
WP_20200422_17_04_41_Pro (resized).jpgQuoted from screaminr:At first I thought yes it does look like the side of the back box but but when I look at the picture I realised it's leaning backwards not a bit to the front like they normally do .
Stern is either saying suckers or dammit .[quoted image]
It’s actually straight up and would be the back half of the side of the head. The camera angle makes it look like it’s leaning but it’s running vertically with wall studs. It’s a back box side shot for sure
Quoted from DS_Nadine:You forget the backbox has depth and the perspective.[quoted image]
That would explain the shadow, but not the fact that it's standing straight up. (Compare the edges of the object to the angle of the wall studs, which I hope for Dwight's sake are at 90 degrees.) Stern's backboxes have a definite forward lean -- considering the angle, it looks like we'd barely be seeing part of the T on a backbox because it would be leaning out of the right edge of the frame.
...and now I've officially spent too much time over-analyzing a blurry Zoom screenshot. Maybe I should go outside.

If it were a backbox, if it's vertical the playfield would be sloping backwards...
