Anyone know which model they have on the line?

Quoted from Mrawesome44:Diverter seems to be good unfortunately at 0 plays it’s already scratched up my plastic ramp. At 9k this sure is a swift kick to the nuts
Welcome to NIB Sterns.
Might want to change the thread name to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles LE Club(Stern 2020): Cowabunga! It’s Repair Time.
Quoted from kh39540:My distributor told me to expect my premium sometime in August.
That's what I'm hearing about the pro.
Quoted from joelbob:Any chance they would make a set in pink as the artwork directly below it is showing the ooze in pink?
Quoted from Halfwasted:Lol Turtles is the #1 pinball game of all time now apparently
Most new pins hit #1 it will fall to its appropriate place before long.
Quoted from Swoods5688:I built a setup to do it myself, I have probably done 10 or more of my games now. The hardest part was an oven that would get hot enough and be large enough but not break the bank. I used some creative engineering and built one out of 2 electric smokers and some special furnace insulation and it works great.
What colors did you use? I'm thinking about ILLUSION SOUR APPLE and BABY ROCKSTAR SPARKLE.
Does Stern make Slot machines? Hate the slot machines sounds they used on Turtles. They did the same with GB.
Quoted from Swoods5688:I used Green Imagination from Prismatic powders
Just the single color? No base or top coat?
Quoted from gumnut01:8 ball multiball, there is also a glider mode. And Krang bounces.
8 ball is to many as the 6 in the pro is already a handful. Anything over 3 and you're just slapping balls around until the ball save runs out and you get it to a controllable amount of balls.
Quoted from GoldenOreos:Got my TMNT Pro today, was built Aug 4th. has the super awesome inkjet playfield....put in a ticket for a replacement. FML
[quoted image]
Think they all look like that. Mine does. Grainy and washed out colors.
Quoted from GoldenOreos:Got my TMNT Pro today, was built Aug 4th. has the super awesome inkjet playfield....put in a ticket for a replacement. FML
[quoted image]
Mine looks the same.
IMG_5623 (resized).jpgQuoted from BENETNATH:Mine seems not so bad
[quoted image]
You got some dirty balls.
Quoted from GoldenOreos:here is a pic of one local to me that's fine
[quoted image]
That one does look better. The Team Up looks way better
Quoted from cooked71:You sure thats not blue protective tape over some of the t-mold?
Good catch. It is. Mine didn't come with any i got black marks on a couple corners. I would think they would never let one leave with mismatched molding but after the pizza motor anythings possible.

Quoted from ctl723:Wow, that's pretty significant of a difference. I cropped and rotated two of them in order to have a better side by side comparison. The Stern "QA" department continues to impress me every day.
[quoted image][quoted image]
Top picture is what I thought I was paying 6k for.
Quoted from Waxx:My Pro looks great.
[quoted image]
Does yours have art under the star post?
Quoted from Waxx:I don’t think it makes sense. Mine was assembled 8/5 and has great art. That would mean it was an original PF from months ago that was just now used. I think they are making some in house and some are being made by a 3rd party.
Crazy speculation would be they print ones in house which let them make changes immediately but at a lower quality. 3rd party takes longer to change or they have to meet an ordered amount.
Mines 6/31.
Quoted from kh39540:I'm putting an external volume control in that hole.
https://www.pinballlife.com/stern-spike-2-headphone-jack-assembly.html
Quoted from kh39540:Cool. I got this. Bought it from someone here on pinside not sure if they still make them. Pinvol I think is the brand.[quoted image]
That's how i had to do the volume in Metallica. I like having the headphone jack and knob but the toggle was the only option for SAM games. But yea you can still buy those. https://www.pinballlife.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=PBL-100-0062-00
Pinball Life is my go to for just about everything. They sell a cheaper shaker motor that works great.
Quoted from JonCBrand:The keyless lock from pinballlife is a cheap $5 alternative to external volume control. Slightly more work to adjust volume, obviously not a good choice with young children.
[quoted image]
For the price of these pins whats another 50.00, I just use both. Would have taken a picture of turtles but someone at Stern decided to put the lock on to tight and I have to cut it off.
IMG_5632 (resized).JPGQuoted from zeldarioid:Is there not a ball save option you can add to the Lair release in the settings, similar to the ball save timer you can add for the Star Wars Tatooine/Mystery scoop? Draining from a Lair release is hot garbage, so hopefully there is a timer if that kind of drain is a possibility (it sounds like almost an expectation in this game)!
This pin has a lot of ball save timers. You can set the main timer to 1min. which is crazy.
Quoted from jfrazie:Unboxed my new Pro yesterday.
Not impressed at all with the printing job here. It looks awful.
Give me some chipped clear around some posts all day long over this garbage.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
That's me. I would rather have the clear problems. 6k and a 100.00 inkjet playfield.
So I guess going forward with new pins art is an upgrade now. Pro you get what you get, Premium, LE good artwork.
Quoted from freddy:Should have it in upright position not lying down.[quoted image]
You also notice how the word TOP is turned sideways? That's because its the topside of the machine. Which tells me he has the Truck side down.
Quoted from ctl723:Ah, I think I see what you mean- looks like on the pro there is another clear piece on top there due to the different wireform shape. In fact, looks like that's what the extra unused standoff is for. It appears they had a ton of trouble during development with hangups here, and I think they did intentionally move to a shorter standoff in the front to angle the plastic on the prem/LE. If you look at their press photos, that front screw is a flathead. Not sure why they didn't just carry that forward to production.
Didn't notice yours was an LE. Pro still has the plastic you're talking about. Has 06 on it? which I cant find in the manual. But all 3 of those hex post are the same size.
Quoted from Rob_G:Unfortunately there isn't anything in there for the pizza spinner. The best way to test it is start a multiball.
Rob
Quoted from Rob_G:The pro and LE/Pre are not the same. Yes, you can test the pro wheel in the coil diagnostics, but not the Premium/LE. Unless Dwight added something in the last code update - I haven't looked again.
Rob
Seems strange only the pro would have it. Mine had the latest code when i got it.
