Quoted from Digduglus:

Anyone announce any mods yet?

Waiting for the game to arrive to test fit and function. Pro owners won’t be disappointed!

#343 3 years ago
Quoted from jurulz:

Can you give us little sneak peak or hints?

Well, not ready to show anything, but what I will say is that we will be starting with a couple of mods that the LE has that the pro doesn’t.

Quoted from Multiballmaniac1:

You’re the best in mods. Also ships out in a timely fashion.

I appreciate that, but there are some pretty good mod makers out there that are better than me, we just try to give a good overall experience from communication to shipping to support, etc. I’m literally always available unless I’m asleep.

Quoted from gawcol:

HELP! My lights are switched... Is this a software bug? Or did they switch my wires???
The bebop and left outline lights are switched with the michaelangelo pizza parlor lights... running code 1.1. It’s very annoying in gameplay.
It’s in the game and also in the single led test you can see it’s wrong.
Can someone else test on their tmnt with software 1.1 please, before I do anything? Just to make sure it's not a software bug. Thx!

[quoted image]

You can look in the manual. Each board, pin and wire are listed for the insert lights. See if they match your game. Page 18.

Quoted from ctl723:

Just unboxed my LE. These playfields do still seem to be susceptible to bubbling/pooling where the apron + guides touch down. I'm going through adding some felt washers like I did on Jurassic Park before it potentially gets worse and chips. Also, the left outlane post was clearly designed for a small post. They pulled back the artwork for that but later changed it to a star post which is starting to pool a bit. Hopefully shouldn't be too bad since it's rarely hit and doesn't have a ring applying diagonal pressure to it. Either way, I think it's worth protecting these spots early if you can.
[quoted image][quoted image]

Definitely open a ticket with them. This kind of stuff was supposed to be resolved.

Got my pro today. Not quite sure what I’m doing, but are multiballs supposed to be easy to start? They seem to start pretty quick at times. I don’t see points being awarded so I don’t think I have any phantom switch/opto hits.

#2040 3 years ago

I'm assuming there is not supposed to be a connector for this plug on the trough board. It's a different board than on my ehoh, which doesn't have this extra plug.

Quoted from chuckwurt:

The way they have positioned the slings on some of their newer games makes it way harder to post pass. I recommend an alley pass from left to right. Or a tap pass if you’re a god. Haha[quoted image][quoted image]

yeah, I have noticed that I cannot do a post pass on my TMNT pro.

#2357 3 years ago
Quoted from daveyvandy:

I did. Original code did not have much use, but current code it does a lot. I would recommend it.

Yep, have one from cointaker on mine. It’s pretty active. When the disc is spinning shaker is active, nice effect.

KRANG MOD GUIDE (pro model)
I am very proud and i hope you enjoy this mod too, it came out way better than i thought.
[quoted image][quoted image]
Buy this Toy: Neca Donatello vs Krang
[quoted image]
Cut the back of Krang for the LED illumination
[quoted image][quoted image]
Drill a hole in Krangs mechsuit in the size of a LED Socket and hot glue it from the back later. Make sure you do not glue where the LED has to be attached, for a good electrical connection and you can swap LEDs later too. I did use a cold white 8 SMD LED, make sure Krang has enough room in the mechsuit too because of the LED inside. Glue Krangs arms into his mechsuit, so they don't get lost.
[quoted image][quoted image]
The LED connection has to be solderd on the red LED of the Krang insert. So Krang will light up when you shoot the center loop, he does his call outs or the Krang shot Hurry up is running. You can see the two blue heat shrink tubings, those are the cables I cut and where I soldered in the Krang cables too, make sure you don't mix +/- connection. You always can go into LED test in the settings, make sure to press the coin door switch, otherwise the LED test will not work.
[quoted image]
I attached the toy with a cable clamp, just make sure the toys feet don't get under the pop bumper.
[quoted image][quoted image]

Nice job. We have one similar. I was hesitant to tap off the node board and most of our customers cant solder so we tapped off the pop bumper with clips, it’s just easier for most people. Ours can be retrofitted if anyone wants to solder as shown by Prodoshi. We mount ours over the screw on the hex post with a mount we made, I think it’s more stable. Prodoshi, if you want the mount, let me know, happy to send you one.

#2469 3 years ago
Quoted from joelbob:

I bought yours and it works great. You are saying I can take the alligator clips and connect it to the node board like he has without issue?

you have to cut the alligator clips off and solder to the wires like he did. One of the clips has a mark on it, that is the power wire (red wire), the other wire is the ground (black wire). it's all 5v.

Quoted from ABE_FLIPS:

thanks, but the last order from the US took about 5 months via USPS

sorry, didn't realize you weren't in the US. yeah, mail delivery in the US is very bad these days.

Quoted from kh39540:

Anyone noticed the game randomly adding another player? Too often, after starting a one player game, there is suddenly a second player after end of ball. I know I hit start only once...

Do you hit the lock bar button? That adds players.

Quoted from Happy81724:

People have added a similar looking krang and lot him up. He doesn’t jump or anything but if you go to pics you’ll see some in here

Yeah, we offer a neca krang that is tied to the pop bumper flasher, but there is a post in this thread where someone spliced into the wiring to mimic the premium/le. We have one of these neca krangs left and that will be it as they have become too hard to find in any kind of quantity. We may get a few in periodically, but generally this will be it for this mod from us so last call if anyone was on the fence.

Quoted from dapperdan24:

Just installed him and digging the addition to the machine, thanks Lermods! Someone grab that last one. Easy to install, great addition to the game

It’s gone, we are sold out. If people find one and they want to send it to me to mod, I can do it.

Quoted from raplaka75:

Hello guys! Got this error message on my TMNT. Saying to check the right slingshot. I've check the switch but nothing is responding. I've also went into the coils option and check the actual right coil/kicker and that works just fine but no response from the leaf switches itself. Can someone help me out on this matter? Thanks!
[quoted image][quoted image]

Is your switch gapped properly? Broken wire? It’s not a kicker issue.

Quoted from JakePG:

Ordered!
and thank you for not gouging on shipping

Three left, funny you should say that. We’ve always had free shipping until recently. Like everywhere else, our costs have gone up. Rather than raises prices on all our mods, we just instituted a small $0.99 shipping fee. It doesn’t cover all our increased costs, and we may need to raise shipping a little more, but we feel it’s better than raising the prices of mods across the board. I hope that doesn’t change, but 8% inflation is pretty tough to absorb.

For anyone who might be looking, we just added one Pro interactive Krang to our inventory. We get them in periodically, but it’s been fewer and farther between lately.

Quoted from Thor_Odinson:

BTW, if anybody wants a stock Stern Krang Sculpt for their pro, they're selling them at pinball life.

Is that all they offer? No complete walker or interactivity with the game? I thought in the premium and le it was a full size walker version

We offer a full size interactive version for the pro. It’s a bit more expensive, but is a full interactive version.

Quoted from Thor_Odinson:

Any modders that you guys know of that could take this mini TMNT arcade that runs on battery and mod it so that it runs off of the pinball machine? I think it would look cool in the game if it was always running.
[quoted image]

We’ve done it for stranger things with the dig dug. If you want to send it to me, I can take a look at it.
