My build date was 7/30 (arrived 6 days later to my place!). Doesn't have the art under the star post. It DOES have the grainy printing issue.
Quoted from mahony:When viewing from a normal playing angle is it noticeable?
Not really, you have to lean down and know what you are looking for honestly. If I pointed it out you would be like "oh yeah looks like a grainy printer low on ink". From normal playing view most people wouldn't even notice it.
One of things I love about this game is that the peg in the orbit is player controlled (most of the time). When you hold the left flipper in the peg is down and allows balls to complete the orbit for shots with the upper flipper. Starting multiballs lately find myself frantically allowing some to pass for shots and others to complete the upper lanes for bonus x and to slow down/enter the pops. Allowing it to be player controlled adds a deeper layer to the gameplay and strategy in a frantic game. So good.
Quoted from Vitty:Anyone have a good resource for rules overview or tutorial? I'm having a hard time focusing on figuring it out on my own. Videos preferred as I find written rules lack some nuance and descriptive insights.

These are the best out there and they are pretty comprehensive (especially the tiltforums post).
There is a lot of talk on here about the play field printing quality. Has anyone contacted Stern and/or their distributor? If so what was the response?
Is there a way to set up a poll in the thread? I would be curious to see whether everyone can backhand the ramps with default settings. I can backhand the right ramp but the left is impossible (not strong enough on default settings). Although I may also have the game set up too steep. Considering how difficult the game is in general I think I need to adjust the pitch as others here have discussed.
I've had my Pro completely crash during Turtle Power multiball two total times out of a few hundred games. The screen freezes and everything dies, lights goes out, screen stays frozen. The game will stay frozen and not respond to holding in start button (or left and start as enabled). Powercycle fixes it. Seemed more like a bug to me.
I have a group of TMNT mods that I'd like to sell to someone as a set rather than selling them individually. I'll take $100 and ship anywhere in the US. Figured I would see if anyone here is interested before I check elsewhere (hopefully not breaking any forum rules). Total cost for me was around $150 with shipping charges:
