Quoted from r00DVM:

I’m at 476 with HUO in 14 days lol

That’s awesome!! Grabbing mine tomorrow. Plan on playing the heck out of it. My only pin.

Has anyone done anything with the Turtles van? It would be cool it light up underneath or behind it. Maybe an led strip?

#1468 3 years ago
Quoted from Thomas3184:

This fast and the furious?

Ok maybe not underneath it but something cool haha.

#1656 3 years ago

The left outlane can be a bear. Same setup as guardians as far as I can tell however you can at least see this outlane unlike guardians. I agree it’s a harder game in the beginning but once you get the hang of it, it gets more and more fun. The multiballs are pretty achievable early especially if you pick certain turtles. I actually struggle most with the right ramp. Feels very late on my machine. I ordered a digital level that comes in today to make sure I have my machine setup right.

Quoted from mbwalker:

I just have a cheapie one I bought on Amazon...but to reply to your question if I bought again I'd look for one w/a backlight to make it easier to read.

I bought this one and it seems to work well enough. It is backlit.

Quoted from sirlonzelot:

only topper needed [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Your machine looks great. Do you have a drain led strip in there. Also where did you get those ramp flasher covers. I think I want to ditch the white as they are too bright. Love the powder coat too. Great work!!!

Quoted from V8haha:

I thought some people might get a kick out of this
I have a pro and LE
Pro outlane VS LE outlane
Factory setup
I guess if u spend more money stern wants you to feel good about your pinball skills
[quoted image][quoted image]

I was thinking of moving that post. My pro is the same. Post is setup harder. It’s strange too because the artwork clearly left a spot for the post to sit. You would think that would be the default.

#3226 3 years ago
Quoted from kh39540:

Can't hit them. Can get close, just rarely make them.

How is yours setup? Mine was very mean until I set it at about 6.7 degrees. Make sure it is level the other direction. Still is a very fast game. Shots feel late to me but I am also a very mediocre player.

#3254 3 years ago
Quoted from ABE_FLIPS:

I am sure AIQ will smoke TMNT in any aspect, just ordered my Premium.

I would be more excited about Avengers if the Pro had more to offer. As it sits, the premium is the only way to go on that one.

Anyone have any advice on how to easily move this post? It’s threaded into the play field and through. Just want to move it to the other hole. I see more right outlane drains then left. I have the lock nut taken off already. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for the quick advice. Out of curiosity where is everyone’s post located on the left. I have an early pro and read how Prem/LE had it in the hole I am trying to move mine to.

Quoted from pninja005:

Is pro good enough (eg Iron Maiden) or premium needed (eg Ghostbusters)?

Pro for sure. Even the ratings on the pro are slightly higher than the Prem/LE

Quoted from GoldenOreos:

anyone done any color of armor other than the green? not airbrush.

I was thinking of doing a darker color like a dark blue or dark purple. I think it would great against the artwork on the cabinet. I like the green as well but was hoping for something different and a bit more subtle.

#4739 3 years ago
Quoted from GoldenOreos:

well after seeing this vinyl a few of you have done, i bought some to try out. looks good and is surprisingly not to complicated to do.
[quoted image][quoted image]

Looks awesome. Any reason why the two pictures look very different? Where did you purchase the vinyl and how difficult was it to install? Checked around on Amazon and it looks very cost effective compared to powder coat.

Quoted from shaub:

Definitely looks nice. I think I'll have to do that myself.

I agree. It is kind of crammed sideways in the Pro. I imagine they put it sideways because the prem/LE version need it that way for the multiball. Does anyone have more detail on what it takes to turn it?

Quoted from Jediturtle:

One thing I think many new owners do not think about is level and pitch. Get a $20 digital level, or at minimum a small bubble level for left/right and an angle finder for the pitch. Do not trust the bubble that ships on the machine...they are garbage and confuse more than they help. Machines are generally designed for 6.5 deg pitch. Most people like a bit steeper which makes it faster and also easier to catch/cradle the ball. That's ok, but remember if stuff doesn't work right, make sure you eliminate too steep (or shallow) first. You will get slightly different readings in different areas of the playfield due to slight playfield variations, and that's normal. Just try to get a good average and remember a small change can make a big difference in how it plays.
Most important...have fun and enjoy it!

This is great advice. I have had mine for about six months and I am still messing with pitch here and there. Have it around 6.6 or 6.7. I bought a cheap digital level off Amazon. It’s clearly not perfect but much better then the bubble. This game plays mean with a high pitch.

#5123 3 years ago
Quoted from BaxterStockman:

Any example of a good digital level someone could link on amazon?
I see some that look like little squares (amazon.com link »)
But I'm not sure those are the best to use or to get one of the longer ones for better accuracy. (amazon.com link »)

I have the one that looks like square one. Makes it nice for fitting in tighter spots. I think I only paid around $20 on it through Amazon. Seems to work well enough. Even used it around the house for a few projects.

Decided to try the 1989 version of Krang. Bought a cheap one off eBay and put a smd fire bulb I had lying around from Comet. I think it matches really well. Almost tempted to not light it up.

Quoted from Yoko2una:

Sweet. I got the same one. I like how it was from the same series as the other figures.
If you want to go nuts, that Krang toy has a hole under the head the size of a LED. I drilled through his seat and glued a bright white LED into his head and ran the wires underneath. I tied it to the GI bulb right behind that pop with Comet Matrix so it's basically on all the time, but if you want to go over the top, you can go to the LED board for the Krang insert and solder it to activate when one of the colors lights (I think someone here did the red), so when it's flashing Krang is flashing, and even better, when Krang talks he's also lit up.

That’s what I did to mount it. Used a fire bulb from comet that makes it look like his head is pulsing. Tied it to a GI bulb. Overall that’s my favorite Krang and it can be had for cheap on eBay. I think I paid 15 for mine. Great mod for what is an empty spot on the pro.

Yep, she says Bar It Up Shop on Etsy. Here’s a closeup daytime pic when I unwrapped it.

That looks awesome!! I want one. I know everyone rips on Sterns topper for having the logo and this is a giant logo however this isn’t a thousand dollars. Looks very detailed as well.

Quoted from Purdue:

I know lermods makes a kit to do this with a different krang... but i’d like to do it with an OG krang. This one was mine as a kid. Any suggestions for an led flasher with socket that would fit this hole?
It’s 5/8”. and about 1” deep.
[quoted image][quoted image]

I used a fire bulb from comet. I think it came out good. I agree this is my favorite Krang.

Quoted from plasticbugs:

I made a 3d printed part and instructions if you want to DIY by mounting a small fan above the fan vent (does not require opening up the power supply housing), otherwise the pinmonk kit is a good option (does require opening the power supply housing).
Happy to send you a print for the cost of shipping (just about $3 if you're in the US).
