I just joined the club with a TMNT Premium. It's being delivered today and it is going to be a long and fun filled evening. So much to learn and so many MOD opportunities! I plan to get Medisinyl's mods, the Stern art blades and Topper, and plastic protectors at a minimum. And, oh yes, maybe powder coat the armor in green. Lot's to decide but plenty of time to do it. FUN, FUN, FUN.

I just got my Premium and I had an issue with the glider not operating. That seems to be a common issue on this thread and many have reported having to obtain and install a replacement unit. Fortunately my problem wasn't quite so severe. It turns out that the selection button was not making contact with the switch beneath it. A quick adjustment to the switch blades and problem solved. Just wanted to share in case anyone experiences the same problem.

When I bought my premium 2 weeks ago (8/12/20 build), at my request my distributor unboxed one first to inspect the play field; it was not good. He unboxed a second one and it was fine. Dodged a bullet there. A pre-purchase inspection would be a good idea.

Yeah, the first one that my distributor offered to me had a bad print job on the play field. Pretty obvious problem. Not sure why it was not rejected at the factory but I am guessing that the assembly team's standards are simply lower than what most customers want and expect.

I had to replaced the balls on my TMNT Premium with less than 100 plays. They became highly magnetized and they were not releasing properly from the van for multi ball. The new balls from Baron were the standard variety and so far so good.

I just installed 2 new mods on my TMNT Premium: the TECHNODOME from MEZEL MODS and the Turtles Select Bracket from PINMONK. In my opinion they are both big hits. EZ installs, great quality, and big upgrades to the standard Stern plastics. But, to each their own. Just wanted to share.

Check out post #567. I think Robert Stone could help you with your question re. LE color

I just want to share my recent trouble shooting episode with my TMNT Premium. I also want to give a big shout out to a real gentleman in the hobby, Vic Ireland aka vireland. As always, he was a big help in making suggestions of where to look to solve the problem. Here is what happened to my game. All of a sudden the game stopped seeing balls entering the Pizza Parlor. If the Parlor filled up with its' 3 ball limit and a fourth one tried to find a spot, the game would pause and then go into ball search mode. In that process, one of the 4 balls would eject but the other 3 remained. Even at game's end or at start up, any balls in the Parlor remained in place. The obvious suspects were magnetized balls and/or bad OPTOS. In fact, they were not at fault. After much trouble shooting we traced the problem back to the switch No. 8 which controls the upper right flipper. We found a cold solder joint there on both the hot lead and the common ground. That resulted in the OPTOS' common ground also being open. Hence, the Parlor did not operate. I guess the moral of the story is that these games are very complex (pinball is easy?? huh??) and the solutions to failures can be quite hard to find but even neophytes like my wife and I can 'do the work when necessary'. I hope this may help someone else if they have a similar problem.

That side armor seems like a lot of money for what appears to be vinyl decals over a standard set of lollipop rails. And people say the TOPPER cost too much???

I just want to share an idea that I had for some inexpensive mods that I placed on my TMNT Premium. If you've seen this before, sorry but I thought it is original and worth sharing. I really enjoy 'modding' out my games, especially through the use of relevant play field figures. I wanted to add some Turtle figures and the idea hit me to buy some keychain ones. I found these on EBAY and their average cost was under $10 apiece with shipping included. They are just the right size and can be easily mounted with some glue dots. For added effect, I purchased some of the sewer grate mods that LERMODS sells. Bob did me a great favor for me by producing a couple at a 2" diameter instead of his usual 3". They fit my intended application much better at the reduced size. I really recommend LERMODS as they are always responsive, reliable, and very customer focused. Not to exclude anyone else from praise but two others that I can readily say the same for are MEZEL MODS and PINMONK. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the idea and pictures.

Not a problem on my game. MEZEL makes some great mods and the tecnodome is one of them.

Just received my action button surround from Lior (Art of Pinball) and as usual, his quality and design are excellent. I think the design captures the 'fun factor' for each turtle by displaying their 'weapons of choice'. You have to admire Lior's sense of style and his abilities to create a great add that befits a great game.
